Miranda Lambert And Blake Shelton Both Performing At The ACM Awards Tonight: Will Anderson East And Gwen Stefani Be Their Dates?

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton could reunite tonight at the American of Country Music Awards. The former husband and wife are both set to perform, and it looks like they’re both bringing dates to the event.

Unlike Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert and her new beau, singer Anderson East, have not walked a red carpet together. However, TMZ is reporting that this is going to change tonight at the ACM Awards. Sources say that Anderson is in Las Vegas with Miranda, and she’s been busy introducing her boyfriend to all her country music friends and acquaintances. According to Us Weekly, Miranda Lambert and Anderson East started dating in December of last year, so they’ve been together almost as long as Gwen and Blake have. However, they’ve tried to keep their relationship a little more under the radar.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are constantly showing each other love on social media, with Blake’s most recent mention of Gwen being last night during her Saturday Night Live performance. However, Miranda Lambert hasn’t posted anything about Anderson East on social media since February, and she’s only shared one really lovey-dovey post about her Southern soul singer boyfriend with her fans. To celebrate a new year with a new love, Miranda shared the cuddly picture below.

During an interview with CMT After MidNite affiliate 92.3 WCOL, Anderson East revealed that he met Miranda Lambert at one of his shows. He said that they were introduced by a mutual friend, and they bonded over their love of classic country music. According to Country Rebel, he said that he and Miranda have a blast singing the oldies-but-goodies together.

“We sit around and pick. Sing old country songs,” Anderson revealed when he was asked whether he and Miranda are collaborating on any new music.

In a January 31 Instagram post, Miranda Lambert confirmed that she and Anderson East both love writing tunes and guzzling beer, but it’s unclear whether she and Anderson were both working on the same song or doing their own thing while they enjoyed each other’s company in the serene Tennessee backwoods.

Miranda Lambert and Anderson East haven’t released a duet yet, but, as the Inquisitr previously reported, fans can hear both of them on Dave Cobb’s Southern Family compilation album. Anderson’s contribution is a song called “Learning,” which is about his father. The tune Miranda recorded for the record is titled “Sweet By and By,” a lullaby-like song. It celebrates a Southern kind of life that includes lots of hunting, fishing, and Bible reading.

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton divorced in July of last year after four years of marriage, and it’s obvious that they’ve both moved on. This means that fans probably won’t see anything crazy go down between the exes at tonight’s ACM Awards, especially since they’ll likely both have dates to preoccupy them.

Even though Gwen Stefani was out late last night performing on Saturday Night Live in New York, it looks like she flew to Las Vegas to attend the ACM Awards with Blake. In the Snapchat video below, Gwen Stefani reveals that she took an all-night flight somewhere while wearing what appears to be one of Blake’s sweatshirts. Gwen doesn’t reveal where she was going in such a hurry, but some fans are speculating that she was on her way to Sin City.

As Entertainment Tonight reports, Gwen Stefani and Miranda Lambert have used their social media interactions to hint that they feel no ill will toward each other. Miranda actually started following Gwen on Twitter last December, and Gwen responded to this civil social media gesture a few days later by liking Miranda’s sentimental tweet about a fur coat that her grandmother gave her for Christmas.

According to the ACM Awards Twitter page, tonight Miranda Lambert will be performing “Tush” with Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top and Keith Urban. There’s no word on what Blake is going to sing, but his new song, “Came Here to Forget,” seems like a pretty good bet.

You can start watching for Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert’s performances when the ACM Awards airs tonight at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
