Jennifer Lopez Slammed For Forgetting Name On ‘American Idol,’ Told To ‘F*** Off’

Jennifer Lopez is known for openly discussing her former boyfriends and revealing details from her past relationships, according to ABC. And it’s Lopez’s relationship with Ben Affleck that her fans still cannot forget.

Although Jennifer Lopez and Affleck broke up in 2004 shortly after canceling their wedding, Lopez still brings up her relationship with the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice actor in her interviews.

Just last week, Jennifer Lopez revealed in her interview with People that there was “a genuine love” between her and Affleck.

“I think different time, different thing. Who knows what could’ve happened?”

The 46-year-old “Booty” singer, who is currently dating her toyboy beau Casper Smart, recalled the moment she first met Affleck, saying that she felt like, “Okay, this is it.” But Jennifer Lopez then added that people are different in terms of how you think they are and “how you see them when you love them.”

Jennifer Lopez also addressed the pressure she and Affleck had received when they were together. And while the two didn’t plan to have an open, public relationship, they were constantly scrutinized by the media and there was “a lot of pressure,” the “On the Floor” singer revealed.

But Ben Affleck wasn’t the only husband Jennifer Lopez talked about during the interview. The American Idol judge revealed her divorce with Marc Anthony, with whom she parted ways in 2012 after almost eight years of marriage, was “devastating and awful.” Lopez also went as far as saying it has been “the biggest disappointment of my life so far.”

“I think both Marc and I thought at the time we would be together for the next 40 years until we die.”

Jennifer Lopez also added that she didn’t want her marriage with Anthony to be a failure, as she had been married twice before their marriage. She also revealed that she had put “all my heart and soul” into her marriage with Anthony, who have two children – 8-year-old twins Max and Emme.

However, after the two split, Jennifer Lopez says she felt empowered and she knew that it was “the right thing.”

In other news, Steve Van Zandt’s wife Maureen told Jennifer Lopez to “f*** off” after the American Idol judge forgot the name of the Bruce Springsteen guitarist during the show, according to New York Daily News.

Van Zandt’s wife took to Twitter to tell Jennifer Lopez to “f*** off” but the tweet was shortly deleted. Jennifer Lopez was reviewing the performance of American Idol‘s contestant MacKenzie Bourg, who sang a cover of “I Want You to Want Me,” when she struggled to recall the name of the mentor of the aspiring singer and legendary Bruce Springsteen guitarist, Steve Van Zandt.

Trying to recall Van Zandt’s name, Jennifer Lopez referred to him as “mentor,” and looked at her fellow judges, asking to help her out. Keith Urban wasn’t very helpful, as he said “Cheap Trick,” while Harry Connick Jr. was more helpful, saying “Steven.”

Van Zandt’s wife also questioned Jennifer Lopez’s knowledge about the rock world, saying that the “Booty” singer doesn’t do her homework.

“She knows nothing about the rock world. And is a music judge?”

But then Maureen brought down her tone to answer tweets of Jennifer Lopez’s fans. She complained that even though Lopez gets $20 million for American Judge, she doesn’t know the name of the mentor.

Van Zandt’s wife later told Jennifer Lopez’s fans to understand her reaction, as she will “always defend my family & friends,” and that it’s “instinctive.” Jennifer Lopez has not yet responded to Maureen Van Zandt’s tweets.
