Donate To President Obama’s Campaign And Enter To Win Court Time With ‘Michael Freaking Jordan’

President Barack Obama’s newest fundraiser may have basketball fans jumping for joy, a donation to the campaign garners supporters a chance to win court time with “Michael Freaking Jordan.” The Obama campaign email entitled “Michael Freaking Jordan” encourages Democrats to donate to the cause and get a chance to be among a select group of individuals who get to play basketball with some of the all-time NBA greats, according to The Blaze.

The Barack Obama campaign solicitation email encourages voters who want to see a Democrat in the White House for four more years not to skip the exciting Obama Classic event with Michael Jordan if they are unable to play or are simply not basketball fans themselves.

“The president wants to share his dream moment with some of his grassroots supporters. You could be there. And even if basketball is not your thing, you probably have a friend or loved one who’s got enough game for both of you. Just think about that kid or friend who’d love nothing more than to shoot hoops with some of these stars, while you cheer them on from a courtside seat” – Obama campaign email text.

Campaign season is now in full swing and donations from both ends of the political spectrum are highly sought after as the time to cast ballots nears. Although we are still a long away from the first political debate between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, both political parties have been seeking donor dollars for many months.

Obama supporters who would like to play in the Obama Classic do not have to send a big dollar donation to win a spot on the court, a $3 or “whatever you can [give] today” donation is acceptable.

The celebrity athletes Obama campaign donors get to meet at the Obama Classic in addition to Michael Jordan include Alonzo Mourning, Patrick Ewing and Carmelo Anthony, according to the Huffington Post.
