Did Suri Cruise Really Fire Her Music Teacher Over ‘Creative Differences?’

It seems some divas are just born that way. During a visit backstage after a performance of The School of Rock, Suri Cruise, the daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, said that she had taken music lessons, but it didn’t work out due to “creative differences.” She said she has nothing bad to say about the woman, but it didn’t work out.

According to the Inquisitr, as of this Christmas, Suri Cruise had not seen her father, Tom Cruise, in over 800 days. Cruise travels the world, and is often in the same city as daughter Suri, yet she spends nearly all her time with her mother, Katie Holmes. Tom Cruise’s representatives say that Suri Cruise and Tom Cruise do see each other, but always out of the public eye.

Page Six says that Katie Holmes took Suri Cruise to see School of Rock, and took her backstage to meet the star of the show, Alex Brightman. Brightman asked Cruise, 9, if she was taking music lessons, to which she replied that she used to take guitar, but she had a “parting of the ways” with her teacher.

“She said she was ‘a very nice person,’ but that it didn’t work out,” according to our source.

Well, it sounds like Suri Cruise is a pint-sized version of her father.

Radar Online says that Suri Cruise and Katie Holmes had a great time at School of Rock, and enjoyed meeting the cast backstage. Despite confirming that she canned her music teacher, sources backstage said Cruise was very polite and all smiles. The outing to the theater is just one in the latest photographed mother-daughter activities all around town. It is reported that Suri Cruise has not been photographed publicly with her father, Tom Cruise, since 2013.

The Daily Mail said that Suri Cruise and Katie Holmes didn’t get to just meet the cast of School of Rock, they took photos with the entire cast, and got the VIP treatment. Katie Holmes managed to get the full A-list treatment at the Winter Garden Theater in New York City. Suri Cruise was able to meet and greet with all of the child stars that make up the bulk of the cast.

Photos around town of Suri Cruise and Katie Holmes look as if they have a blast together, and Suri seems no worse for wear in terms of being raised by a single parent. Cruise and Holmes have been seen at a NCAA college basketball game between the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks and Notre Dame Fighting Irish at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn last week. Even if Suri Cruise quit her music lessons, she is still having a great variety of other experiences.

E! Online says that Suri Cruise seemed to also have a great time catching an NCAA tournament game at the Barclays Center in New York. Holmes says that raising Suri in New York has been great, as it creates a much better level of normalcy.
