Miley Cyrus Replaces Christina Aguilera On ‘The Voice’ Amid Gwen Stefani Feud? Blake Shelton & Adam Boost Bromance

Christina Aguilera has ended up being portrayed as the dark diva on The Voice. Rumors are swirling that Christina caused so much hostility in a feud with lovebirds Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton that Aguilera got booted from the show, with Miley Cyrus as her replacement, according to the Hollywood Gossip.

The feud reportedly began when Christina slipped smoothly in the coach chair that Gwen had filled. Aguilera riled Blake, because he allegedly was angry that Christina “stole” his girlfriend’s place. Now rumors range from Aguilera herself getting booted from the show and replaced by Miley Cyrus for the next season of The Voice because Shelton commanded it, or, alternatively, Christina got fired because the feud created so much tension.

However, contradicting those reports is the history of The Voice, which traditionally shakes up the coach lineup. The two who remain and have tenure on the show are Blake and bromance buddy Adam Levine, who successfully ease any tension with their on-point banter.

But according to an insider cited by OK! Magazine, the feud fueled by Christina is very real.

Aguilera was furious when she learned that producers had been tempting Stefani and Shelton with a financial bonus if they would parade their PDA for the camera, according to the insider.

“Blake and Gwen are getting an interesting offer from the show’s execs. Producers want the two of them to give fans a full-on love-fest this season when she is a mentor on Team Blake, and they are going to throw in huge bonuses for exclusives, such as on-air duets, engagements, etc.”

Christina became angry that someone she views as her temporary “replacement” had gotten a better deal than Aguilera. As a result, the insider claims Christina was having “mini-tantrums” and wanted Stefani booted.

But did those tantrums and feuds backfire, with Aguilera getting booted as well? That’s what the Voice shakeup has some speculating.

In addition to Miley, Alicia Keys will join The Voice as a coach, reported Hollywood Life.

That means in addition to Christina Aguilera, Pharrell Williams will not be coaching next season, nor will Stefani. However, NBC management emphasized its belief that Cyrus and Alicia will bring their own magic to the show in competition against Shelton and Adam Levine.

“The musical expertise and energy these two incredibly talented women will bring to the show is remarkable,” praised Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Late Night Programming, NBC Entertainment. “We’re thrilled that they’ll be joining Adam and Blake in what we know will be a magical 11th season.”

As for what else is happening behind the scenes, OK! cites sources claiming that The Voice is packed with intrigue. Among the secret scandals? Prior to getting bumped by Miley Cyrus, Christina allegedly threatened that she would resign. Moreover, Aguilera reportedly could not stop herself from continually slamming Stefani.

“[Christina] said that Gwen is ‘not vocally talented’ and would not be on the show at all anymore if it was not for her relationship with Blake,” revealed one source.

But that’s not the only feud. Shelton and Adam Levine are famed for their bromance, and Stefani allegedly is not thrilled with her boyfriend’s bromance buddy.

“[Adam is] offensive to me sometimes,” she reportedly complained about Levine. “He is so inappropriate. And I have been in a band [with all boys] for my whole life — I know inappropriate!”

As for why Pharrell also got booted, another OK! insider seems to know one possible reason.

“It takes [Pharrell] hours to get ready,” revealed that insider. “There have been times when he’s sent his stylist out to get a different shirt, which has set production back. If things don’t go as planned, he loses his temper.”

Helping to ease all this tension is the continuation of the bromance between Shelton and Levine. And thanks to Adam dying his hair pink, the bromantic banter is getting a boost, pointed out MSN.

Levine even took to Instagram to flaunt his pink ‘do and has been allowing his bromance buddy to poke fun at his style, including a post on Twitter that seemed to sum up the country music superstar’s view on Adam and his latest hair fashion.
