Louis Tomlinson: One Direction Star Insidiously Branded A Womanizer

At times, the world must seem a very strange place for Louis Tomlinson. Not only does One Direction star Louis live his life in the glare of the media spotlight, it seems that Tomlinson is subject to stories that bear no relevance to real life on a daily basis. Earlier this week, The Inquisitr reported on 10 stories about Louis from the last few months that proved to be totally untrue. Before Tomlinson’s former bandmate Zayn Malik quit One Direction in March last year, he was painted as the band’s bad boy, but it seems that Louis is now being cast in that role.

In recent months, we have seen Tomlinson accused of dumping his pregnant girlfriend weeks before she was due to give birth. Louis was also accused of buying cheap self-assembly furniture and leaving Briana Jungwirth to assemble it by herself whilst he was off partying with Danielle Campbell. Of course, the stories were complete rubbish, either ill-founded rumors or in some cases downright lies that many feel were designed to hurt Tomlinson’s reputation.

Many One Direction fans struggle to understand what Tomlinson has done to deserve the treatment he receives from some elements in the media. In Louis, they see a kind, thoughtful, and generous young man who adores his family and who is incredibly generous in time and money to the numerous charities he is involved with.

Back in January Sarah Hext, a friend of Louis’ mother, Johannah Deakin, exclusively told The Inquisitr that, when Tomlinson has a “bad press day,” he turns to his mother and says “come on mum, let’s make someone happy today.” Tomlinson’s means of coping with unkindness towards him is to make someone else happy. What does that tell you about Tomlinson’s heart? In what must be the ultimate irony, Tomlinson must have been making a lot of people happy in the last few months.

Take yesterday’s press as an example. The Mirror reported that Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has banned Liam Payne from partying with Louis whilst they are in L.A. recording her album. They claim that Cheryl is concerned that, if Louis and Liam are spotted partying together and are seen talking to girls, rumors will emerge that Liam is cheating on her. As unfair as it may seem, Cheryl probably has a point; some elements in the press like nothing better than to report a whiff of scandal.

What is much more insidious is what Unreality TV did with the story. They led with the headline “does Cheryl hate One Direction cheater Louis Tomlinson?” They then went on to brand Tomlinson as a womanizer.

“Louis has gained quite a reputation for himself in the last year, ever since he split from Eleanor Calder.

“He’s seen as quite the womanizer and that’s not an influence Cheryl wants in her boyfriends’ life.”

Lets look at a few facts about Tomlinson. Since Louis split with Eleanor Calder over a year ago, he has been linked with a grand total of three women. After splitting with Calder, Louis clearly had some sort of relationship with Briana Jungwirth, as she bore him a son.

Since early December, Louis has been strongly linked with Originals actress Danielle Campbell. After the Brit Awards last month, Louis shared a cab to an after party with Zayn Malik’s ex-girlfriend Perrie Edwards and some of her friends. Only in the world of One Direction does sharing a taxi with someone count as a relationship.

Tomlinson is a 24-year-old man who has had one single relationship and one brief fling in over 12-months. How on Earth does that mean that Tomlinson is a womanizer and a cheat? For goodness sake, for most 24-year-olds a week-long relationship represents a long-term commitment.

Australian News Network chip in with another bizarre headline when they claim that “Louis Tomlinson’s girlfriend Danielle Campbell is ready to be Freddie’s Mom.” All this on the basis of a photograph that appears to show Danielle walking beside Louis as he carries Freddie in a car seat. That is quite a leap right there. Mind you, the picture does seem to expose another lie about Louis. Many outlets have reported recently that Jungwirth has banned Louis from introducing Freddie to Danielle.

As you can see from the image of Louis and Danielle above, it seems to have been shot from behind some bushes. Can you even begin to imagine how Louis Tomlinson must feel knowing that, every time he steps out of his house, there may be someone hiding in the bushes ready to take his photograph? This is the kind of intrusion that Tomlinson has to deal with every day of his life.
