Ted Cruz Won’t Say ‘Yes, I’ve Been Faithful To My Wife’ — ‘Daily Mail’ Says Cruz Cheating Stories Pitched To Multiple News Outlets [Video]

The Ted Cruz sex scandal just won’t go away, as reported by the Inquisitr, and Senator Ted’s most recent answers to a Daily Mail reporter, as seen in the following video, feature Cruz refusing to say if he’s been faithful to his wife or not.

As seen in the video, Ted refused to answer the question posed by the Daily Mail reporter. As reported by the Daily Mail, Cruz let Carly Fiorina jump to Ted’s defense, instead of Cruz simply saying, “Yes, I’ve always been faithful to my wife,” or “No, I’ve never cheated on my wife.”

When the question was posed to Cruz again, Carly jumped in, with the reporter asking Fiorina if she had direct knowledge about Ted’s marriage. Carly said she was going to make a statement.

“This is an example of the media playing to Donald Trump’s tune.”

The Daily Mail reporter proclaimed that cheating allegations were a very serious topic, but Carly blamed the media for dancing to “Donald Trump’s tune” instead of Ted saying he had never cheated during his 14-year marriage to Heidi Cruz.

Carly kept talking about Trump, with Fiorina blaming tabloid media and shifting the focus away from the affair rumors. Fiorina called Trump an admitted serial adulterer, but hesitated to call Cruz one. Instead of Senator Cruz saying he’d never been unfaithful to his wife, Cruz let Carly take the floor and talk.

Fiorina continued to speak at the press conference, held in Rothschild, Wisconsin. When the reporter pressed for Ted to say he’d never been unfaithful, Carly spoke about Trump’s infidelity and shifted the focus to President Obama’s recent trip to Cuba.

“Donald Trump is a serial philanderer, by his own admission. And in a week when we have had a terrorist attack in Brussels, a shooting on Capitol Hill, the president of the United States in the baseball stands with Raul Castro, and insisting that he be photographed in front of a portrait of Che Guevara with the two Castro brothers, we are talking about a scurrilous, ridiculous piece…? Why do you all dance to Donald Trump’s tune? Let’s talk about the issues, please!”

The reported noted that the question about Cruz’s alleged adulterous affairs was a serious question about Ted’s character.

‘Will you just – if the answer is, ‘Yes, I’ve always been faithful to my wife,’ can you just say so please?’

Instead, Cruz called the affair rumors garbage and blamed Donald for negative press.

“It is total lies, it was planted by Donald Trump’s henchmen, and I don’t think the people of Wisconsin or the people of America have any interest in tabloid trash.”

The rumors of cheating have buzzed around Cruz for months, and with Ted refusing to simply state that he’s never cheated on his wife, what Cruz deems are scurrilous accusations will continue to cause buzz until Ted flat out says that he’s never cheated.

Meanwhile, according to the Courier Post Online, Heidi cancelled an appearance.

According to Ted’s Twitter, Cruz wants Trump to debate him.

The Daily Mail says that certain politicos — some who worked with Florida Senator Marco Rubio’s campaign — previously continually pitched articles about Ted’s rumored cheating to their publication and other media outlets on a steady basis.

Meanwhile, Cruz continues to call the attacks “garbage” and tries to redirect the “smears” as “completely false,” and blame Trump for the melee. On Easter, Cruz tweeted what sounded like a scriptural tweet, but were words from Pope John Paul II, as noted in the book Sacred Weapons, Profane Enemies: Saint John Paul II’s War on Communism, two days prior to reverting to the pope calling himself a son of the Polish nation.
