Macaulay Culkin Attends Natalie Portman’s Wedding Following Reports On Heroin Abuse

Recluse and often troubled childhood star Macaulay Culkin made a rare appearance in Los Angeles Saturday night. It’s said that the actor attended good friend Natalie Portman’s intimate wedding to her Black Swan dancer Benjamin Millepied.

Macaulay along with a small group of friends and family attended the wedding, which was a surprise to most media outlets, despite the pair  wearing matching wedding bands for quite some time. The ceremony was described as intimate and took place on the grounds of a private home in the coastal location of Big Sur Park, where Culkin and guests enjoyed a dramatic cliff-side view.

This trip for Macaulay Culkin is said to be a significant one, as he hasn’t been seen since photos were released in February of the actor in New York  looking bone thin and disheveled. Last week, Culkin’s representative denied reports made by the National Enquirer that the Home Alone star was “addicted to hillbilly heroin.” Macaulay’s representative Michelle Bega went on to say that the claims were, “ridiculously fictitious’ and ‘insulting’.”

The original report from the National Enquirer said of Culkin’s drug abuse that friends feared the actor had only “six  months to live” and that his drug habit cost him up to “$6,000 a month.” It’s said that the star has come close to overdosing on painkillers, and it’s because of his drug use that he’s lost weight so rapidly.

According to a source, Culkin is said to be addicted to “ heroin, oxycodone, Percocet and Vicodin. I have witnessed his drug taking, which has escalated over the past year and a half to the point where he needs serious help.” The claims were made that Culkin’s drug habit only intensified in the last eighteen months which is shortly after his split from girlfriend of 8 years, Mila Kunis.

Culkin and Portman have reportedly been friends for years, which made the trip to Los Angeles important for Culkin as he watched Portman exchange vows with Benjamin Millepied in a Jewish ceremony under a chuppah after sundown. Also in attendance was the couple’s child Aleph.
