Louis Tomlinson’s Girlfriends — Does The One Direction Star Have A Type?

In the last two weeks, new pictures have emerged of Louis Tomlinson’s girlfriend Danielle Campbell strolling with Louis’ mother Johannah and stepfather Dan. Rumor has it that Louis and his new love are getting very serious indeed — Unreality TV thinks the two may be engaged.

Louis has been linked to a variety of sultry-looking brunettes and a couple of blondes in his time, not to mention a number of mystery girls, such as the three lovers he was rumored to be juggling last year, as reported by Hollywood Life.

“Despite having a baby with Briana, Louis is still juggling at least three other girls right now. He’s really enjoying the single life right now and has no plans on settling down anytime soon…Unfortunately the other girls he had been ‘dating’ are really jealous and upset about the baby news…All of them were hoping to be the one to finally land Louis.”

There was also the Mystery Sorority Girl, rumored to have hooked up with Louis in February last year, according to this report by Teen.com, and Lucy Julian, who rocked Twitter when she was photographed kissing Louis in a pool in Thailand while he was dating someone else.

Louis cheated on Eleanor [Calder] with a Cali sorority girl.

Last year was a busy year for Louis — he was photographed holding hands with rumored fling and BDSM lingerie designer Tamara Bell at Glastonbury, reportedly calling her a “great beauty” to his friends. And let’s not forget this “rare Louis groupie story” from the early days of One Direction, which lives on in the pages of Tumblr thanks to the efforts of a “small but devoted” collective of 1D fans who swear it is 100% true!

Louis groupie stories are probably so rare because the Doncaster heartthrob has spent so much time in long-term relationships. But does Louis have a type? Let’s see.

1. Hannah Walker

Hannah Walker was Louis’ first serious girlfriend from his hometown, Doncaster. She was, famously, the one who encouraged Louis to audition for the X Factor the year Simon Cowell and co put One Direction together. The rest was history!

Hannah seemed to think Louis changed a lot after he became famous (not necessarily in a bad way.) She was quoted saying,

“‘When I look at him on the television now I know him as two different people – one is the boy from Doncaster, and the other is Louis from One Direction.”

Hannah was also a good sport, sending her apologies to Eleanor Calder after One Direction fans started a campaign to reunite Hannah and Louis, while Eleanor was dating Louis! The blonde passed her message to Eleanor through Liam Payne’s girlfriend at the time, Danielle.

“I felt terrible so I sent a text to Liam’s girlfriend Danielle saying to tell Eleanor that I’m sorry if I’ve offended her. I didn’t want to look like an evil ex-girlfriend.”

Hannah is still active on Twitter and has demonstrated that she has a dry and self-effacing sense of humor, sometimes bordering on grim and bleak. Chin up, Hannah!

2. Eleanor Calder

Eleanor was Louis’ girlfriend for four years. The private brunette was still a student when they got together and was beloved by many fans, who fill her beautiful Instagram with comments like “queen!” and “We miss you, mom” as well as determinedly tagging Louis Tomlinson in Eleanor’s pictures, starting mini-campaigns to get Louis to look at his lovely ex.

3. Briana Jungwirth

At first glance, Briana did not seem like Louis’ type — she was more of a party animal than his other girlfriends, a sexy dancer and a blonde California club-hopper. There were a lot of rumors that Briana became the mother of Louis’ son after a one night stand, however the Tomlinson family now insists that the two were in a serious relationship.

Smitten Briana has inched closer to the Louis girlfriend mold since she became Freddie’s mom — new pictures have emerged showing that Briana has dyed her hair a dark, chocolatey brown.

4. Danielle Campbell

Louis’ latest serious girl appeared on the scene when his post-Eleanor dating spree was winding down at the end of last year. A supporter of animal rights and Chicago actress with a sweet smile and mischievous streak, Danielle has wormed her way into the hearts of many One Direction fans already, as well as winning over Louis’ mom Johannah and even possibly inspiring Louis to put that rumored “ring on it.” While many cry that the shrew is “using Louis” or diverting his attention from his son, or that Danielle is fake or a “winter girlfriend,” others appreciate that Danielle has been “Louis’ rock” throughout his transition to fatherhood. It’s also hard to look at pictures like this one and not agree that Danielle is cute/amazing!
