Wentworth Miller Speaks Out Against Hateful Meme Going Around Of Him, Reveals He Was Suicidal

If you were searching the Internet today, then you probably saw a really mean meme of Wentworth Miller, one of the stars of Prison Break. This meme shows Wentworth back when he was on the show and in amazing shape with tattoos drawn on his body. The next to it you see a picture of Wentworth Miller when he had put on a bit of weight and just didn’t look the same. E! Online shared that Wentworth Miller actually went to his Facebook page to share his thoughts on this meme and revealed some things that his fans might not know about him.

Wentworth Miller was actually going through social networks today when this picture of him popped up. Instead of staying quiet, Miller went to his Facebook and shared his thoughts on someone making this about him. He could have simply ignored it, but instead he faced the bullies head on. Nobody seems to know who actually made this meme and where it started. Here is what he had to say about it.

“Today I found myself the subject of an Internet meme. Not for the first time. This one, however, stands out from the rest. In 2010, semi-retired from acting, I was keeping a low-profile for a number of reasons. First and foremost, I was suicidal. This is a subject I’ve since written about, spoken about, shared about. But at the time I suffered in silence.”

When this picture came out originally, Wentworth Miller’s mom actually called him, concerned for his health. This picture reminds Miller of his struggle and what he went through. He even shared that he is glad they are out there. This meme was hard on Wentworth and he shared the first time he saw it he found it hard to breathe, but he is finding the meaning in it which to him is about healing and strength. Miller also wants people to know that there is always someone out there to help you, so reach out. So how did Wentworth get this big? He shared the details.

“In 2010, at the lowest point in my adult life, I was looking everywhere for relief/comfort/distraction. And I turned to food. It could have been anything. Drugs. Alcohol. Sex. But eating became the one thing I could look forward to…And I put on weight. Big f–king deal.”

Fans are very supportive of Wentworth Miller in the comments on his Facebook post. He is bringing awareness to something that is very important and his fans really appreciate this from him. It is great to hear Wentworth Miller’s fans supporting him so much.
