Chris Pratt Celebrates Easter With Cross To Make Wife Anna Faris And Son Proud

Chris Pratt is in the middle of shooting Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but that did not stop him from erecting a gigantic metallic cross for Easter. Yes, you read that right. Instead of stuffing himself with chocolate and pretending to be a bunny for his son, Chris Pratt spent the Sunday putting up a cross on a hill nearby. This must have made his wife Anna Faris and his son very proud.

“In a work of outdoor craftsmanship that would make Ron Swanson proud, Chris Pratt celebrated Easter Sunday by setting up a cross to celebrate the Christian holiday,” reports Entertainment Weekly. “Pratt detailed the process with a series of photos on his Instagram account, from choosing a spot, to carrying the cross, to setting it in place.”

The Guardians of the Galaxy star made sure to photo document every step of the way so that his fans know just how dedicated he was this Easter to his cross-making project.

This is Chris with a bunch of his buddies carrying the cross to its destined location.

To prove that he didn’t hire anyone special to do the dirty work for him, he didn’t forget to take pictures as he was hauling the metal frame up the mound.

He also didn’t neglect to have a triumphant and successful photo to show that he is dedicated to his belief more than ever. He also chose a pretty cool filter to emphasize on their glowing complexions from working hard all Easter Sunday.

Maybe he got his wife Anna Faris to take pictures for him and his Easter crew!

Many of Parks and Recreation, Jurassic World and Guardians of the Galaxy fans don’t know that Chris Pratt is a man of deep faith. He has often spoke out about it in interviews, highlighting that it is a central point in his life.

When he talked about the experience of greeting his son nine weeks early with his wife Anna Faris, he spoke about it in the context of his belief.

“We were scared for a long time,” Chris said according to People Magazine. “We prayed a lot…. [Eventually] It restored my faith in God, not that it needed to be restored, but it really redefined it.”

In another interview with Esquire, he spoke about the time that he dedicated himself towards Christianity. He recalled a guy that approached him in Hawaii that convinced him to look into it.

I gave my soul to Jesus within, like, two days,” the actor said. “I was stuffing envelopes for his organization, Jews for Jesus. I’m not even sure, at that age—I was nineteen years old—I knew what Jewish was.”

But now that Easter Sunday has passed onto a fresh week, Chris Pratt is back at work on the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, uploading a video on his Instagram to let his adorers have a behind-the-scenes look into how they actually film the spaceship scenes.

This video promotes the chance to join him on the set of the movie, making the wildest dreams of his fans come true!

“Not everyone can save the universe as Star Lord, but you can get the chance to be his buddy for the day with a new charity campaign from Omaze,” reports CNET. “This time around, Marvel and Pratt have teamed up with Omaze to give fans the chance to be his sidekick for a day on the movie set of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.'”

But when he isn’t hard at work promoting charitable events and working on his film career, he is often found dedicating much of his time to his wife and son.
