Lauren Conrad’s party planning book, Lauren Conrad Celebrate, hits shelves this week, and she is dishing all about fans can expect from her latest project.
This morning, Conrad appeared on Good Morning America to talk about her latest book, Lauren Conrad Celebrate, which is all about party planning. Lauren shared her tips for planning a party on any budget and used one of her own parties, a Moroccan-themed brunch, as an example. It is actually pretty simple math — 30 percent food, 30 percent beverage, and 30 percent décor that will leave the party planner with a 10 percent buffer for any of the unforeseen circumstances that may come up.
Lauren Conrad dished all about her party planning book, Lauren Conrad Celebrate, to Lara Spencer. Conrad, who has planned a number of parties and planned her own wedding to William Tell, was all about sharing her ideas like using a Pinterest board to collect party ideas. Even though she and Lara discussed a couple of parties that Lauren planned, she only revealed bits of information that can be found in her book. An excerpt of the book was revealed to GMA.
What can fans expect from Lauren’s new book? According to Conrad’s website, the book is meant to be “your ultimate entertaining guide, no matter what the occasion.” The entire book focuses on parties that Lauren herself threw and spans a wide range of different occasions over a calendar year. She shares insights into DIY tights, lifestyle ideas, decorations, and gifts, even what outfit to wear. It really is like a girl’s guide to planning a good party.
This party planning book is just the latest in a long line of books from Lauren Conrad. She is an established author that has not only has written the fictional books series, but also other advice or guidance books. LA Candy and The Fame Game are both fictional book series that are very successful. Conrad has also written Lauren Conrad Style and Lauren Conrad Beauty, which were both about giving tips and advice or their designated topic. Both books have been huge hits for her.
Although Lauren rose to fame in reality TV shows Laguna Beach and The Hills, she is no longer a reality TV star. Conrad has built very successful brand for herself that does not involve being in the spotlight 24/7. Along with having three different clothing lines, The Lauren Conrad Collection, LC Lauren Conrad, and Paper Crown, she also has a lifestyle products company called Blue Avocado. Plus, she runs her own website that is not about herself but is about keeping in touch with her fans, while still growing her brand. The former reality TV star has done very well for herself post-MTV.
