Yolanda Foster Talks ‘Solitude’ As David Foster Divorce, Selma Blair Rumors Continue

Yolanda Foster and her husband, David, appear to be happy after announcing plans to divorce at the end of last year. As fans have seen on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Yolanda Foster’s marriage is nearing its end on the currently airing episodes, and in real time, Yolanda Foster and David have been separated for months.

While the couple’s marriage comes to its end on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, both Yolanda Foster and her husband are speaking out. Most recently, Yolanda Foster took to her Instagram page, where she spoke of being alone while on vacation for the Easter holiday.

“Easter morning solitude………. #Reflection #CountingMyBlessings,” read Yolanda Foster’s caption on March 27.

Meanwhile, Yolanda Foster’s husband spoke out at a recent event, telling press his relationship with Yolanda Foster was “really good.”

“Her and I are really good,” David Foster told Entertainment Tonight during an appearance at UCLA’s Institute of the Environment and Sustainability gala last week. “I feel OK about it, and I’m just happy to be here. I’m fine being by myself.”

After Yolanda Foster’s marriage showed signs of turmoil on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she spoke to fans and readers of her blog, opening up about the loss she felt post-split.

“Yes, there were mixed emotions while watching tonight’s episode,” Yolanda Foster wrote in her blog last week. “A divorce, regardless of how it happens, is still the closing of the chapter, a separation from your life partner. We can’t help but feel the loss and wonder when and how things went wrong. Long-term illness brings challenging hurdles to a home, a family and a marriage. It affects many lives, but I have to believe we’ve all done the best we can. Rather then getting stuck on what went wrong, I choose to focus on what was right and cherish the many great memories we shared.”

On the show, Yolanda Foster’s husband, David, who has been linked to Selma Blair in the months since they parted ways, has been seen chatting with a friend, revealing his doubts in their marriage. While Yolanda Foster’s Lyme disease symptoms saw an improvement in the months leading up to the scene, David told a friend he was unsure that he and Yolanda Foster would be able to get their romance back on track after years of her illness and recovery taking center stage in her life.

Also in her blog, Yolanda Foster spoke of her decision to change her name back to Yolanda Foster once her divorce from David was finalized.

“Let me share some of the ‘footprints’ leading up to this to help clarify unnecessary confusion,” Yolanda Foster wrote. “I chose to keep my married name for my children when their father and I separated in 2000. It was important to them and we decided this as a family. When I married David, I honored his and went by both. I was Yolanda Hadid-Foster, and now I have dropped Foster for obvious reasons. Honoring my children’s wishes on this subject is important to me.”
