Sheree Whitfield Says Andy Cohen Is On ‘High Alert’ After Being Called One-Sided

Sheree Whitfield is back on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and she’s excited that she survived the first reunion special in a few years. Sheree knows that everyone enters the reunion special with one goal in mind: to stand their ground and fight off any accusations that will come their way. And that’s actually one thing that Whitfield doesn’t like about the show, as she just wants everyone to get along. Now, according to a new Bravo report, Sheree Whitfield is sharing her thoughts about the first reunion special in a few years.

“Being back on the reunion stage was definitely a lot fun for me and being #TheOG on the stage, I definitely brought a different perspective about a lot of the conflict the ladies had throughout the season. Having that perspective present adds to the discussion and brings balance,” Sheree reveals about her reunion appearance, referring to herself as the OG of Atlanta.

However, NeNe Leakes is also an OG, and she was featured briefly at the reunion for her pop-up appearance in Jamaica.

But Sheree Whitfield doesn’t appreciate being called out for her troubles, including her lack of progress on Chateau Sheree. When the Real Housewives of Atlanta season started, Whitfield was called out by Kenya Moore for not finishing her home in five years. Sheree later admitted that she had struggled financially with the home and would work to complete it.

“One thing I don’t like about the reunion is that you never know the other ladies’ motives going in. You definitely have your guard up! These girls get on Google, they call everyone in town trying to dig up dirt. It’s like a Cold War. Everyone has their arsenal full and they are ready to unload it if you cross them! When I went into it I was a little nervous at first but kudos to Andy Cohen! He did a great job this year providing comic reliefs with his commentary and observations. We definitely bring out his shady side and I live for #ShadyAndy!” Whitfield points out.

And it is interesting that she brings up “Shady Andy,” because some people thought that Andy was being a little too shady towards Kenya Moore. Moore retweeted this tweet from a fan, “I agree, Andy is one sided. You can clearly see that he favors Phaedra. He needs to be professional,” but Whitfield doesn’t take it that seriously. She thought it was funny, and she would probably laugh off any shade that came her way.

But Whitfield does think that Andy was on high alert and throwing the shade left and right. In fact, Sheree had fun with it, and she appeared on Watch What Happens Live Sunday night after the reunion special aired.

“Do I? It was clear that Andy was on HIGH alert! LOL. I thought they were fun reads! He does a good job at calling all of the ladies out, but that is part of the reunion process. We are going to have to cut through the mess and get to a resolution, whether it be good, bad, or indifferent. It’s his job to facilitate closure. Now, if you are asking if his facilitating is always successful, that is a whole other story! LOL,” Whitfield reveals.

Sheree hasn’t talked about whether she will return for another season, but it sounds like she had a blast this past year. One can imagine that she will return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta next year as a full-time housewife.
