Lindsay Lohan’s comeback has taken a few strange turns. The former A-list star recently finished filming made-for-tv movie, Liz and Dick, is currently filming The Canyons, an erotic thriller with 26-year-old porn actor James Deen, and her next project will reportedly be Scary Movie 5. That’s not exactly the path to stardom. But hey, at least she’s getting work.

According to E! Online, Lohan is set to star in the latest installment of the horror spoof franchise. Details about the deal aren’t available yet but a source says that Lohan has officially signed on to star in the new movie.

Charlie Sheen has also reportedly signed on for the new movie. Sheen appeared, and was killed, in Scary Movie 4 but the Anger Management actor will be back for the sequel.

Scary Movie 5 is being touted as a complete reboot to the franchise. According to IMDB, the latest movie will focus on spoofing Black Swan.

IMDB writes:

“Three dancers — one veteran performer and two upstarts who are also best friends — vie for the lead in a new production from a snooty, aloof, imperious, and oversexed director.”
