Drake And Mo-G’s Feud Escalates After Rapper Attempts To Leak Rumored ‘VFT6’ Track On Instagram

Drake may have subtly addressed rumors of an ongoing feud with rapper Mo-G earlier this week, but it appears that the duo’s feud is far from over after the Toronto-based rapper took to Instagram on Friday to post a snippet of an alleged track off of Drake’s impending Views From The 6 album.

Mo-G made headlines earlier this week after he took to Instagram to blast Drake and his OVO Sound crew for reportedly failing to pay him after he helped to pen “Billboard hits” for Drake, further fueling ghostwriting rumors for the Toronto-native following his explosive feud with Meek Mill in 2015, MTV reports.

“Have you ever ever heard in the history of hip-hop a man that gives away his creativity and helps make Billboard hits, but doesn’t get paid a dollar or get one credit for it and is here stuck in the ‘hood?” Mo-G asks followers in a now-deleted Instagram video before calling Drake’s manager and OVO founder Oliver El-Khatib a “culture vulture,” Hot New Hip Hop reports.

Despite Drake having given Mo-G a shout-out in his “Summer Sixteen” track, in which he raps, “Mo-G with the dance moves / Ave Boy with the dance moves,” Mo-G further blasted Drake by posting several screengrabs of an alleged conversation between himself and Drake to Instagram in which the rapper asks his fellow Toronto-native for a vocal sample.

Similarly, Mo-G also alleges that Oliver El-Khatib asked him for “new hooks new flows and bars and s***” for Drake ahead of the rapper’s Views From The 6 release, taking to Instagram to explain to fans, “This is a tittle [sic] of a song on views. After I did this s*** Oliver put me in the studio and He said they need new hooks new flows and bars and s***…I didn’t wanna be on these n***** album cuz I’m not a slave only slave of Allah not the fake a** ‘6god’ it only gets deeper. Stay playing with me little forest hill creature,” Hot New Hip Hop reports.

While Drake seemingly responded to Mo-G’s accusations with his own cryptic Instagram post earlier this week, it looks like Mo-G is further aiming to diss Drake by attempting to leak a snippet of a rumored track from Drake’s highly anticipated Views From The 6 album, which is set to drop sometime in April.

Mo-G took to Instagram on Friday to share a video of himself explaining his decision to delete his previous posts regarding his feud with Drake and the OVO crew before dispelling rumors suggesting that he was paid $12,000 for his musical contributions. Shortly after, Mo-G then uploaded a new video to Instagram claiming to have leaked a snippet of a new song, titled “These Days,” from Drake’s VFT6.

Despite Mo-G’s claims, fans were quick to point out that the alleged leaked snippet from Drake is actually a cover of Jackson Browne’s record, “These Days,” with one fan noting that the song clips have “been out since 2011,” Rap Direct reports. Mo-G has since removed the “leaked snippet” post from his Instagram, however, his video regarding rumors of a $12,000 payout from OVO is still visible on his page.

What do you think of Mo-G’s attempt to diss Drake by leaking a rumored track from Views From The 6?
