Sadly, it seems like the rumors in Niall Horan’s life have spun out of control where it concerns Snapchat. Before Niall Horan is in headlines being rewarded with the trophy for “First One Direction Member on Snapchat,” a cautious reading of the allegations should be thoroughly reviewed first.
According to Teen Vogue, Niall Horan was erroneously titled with being the first member of One Direction to get his own Snapchat account. In the clarification of their title, they stated that One Direction has its own account, but the individual members of One Direction, such as Niall Horan, have not had their own personal accounts made public.
2Day FM verifies that One Direction joined Snapchat around September 22, 2015.
However, Liam Payne fans might be suspicious of this idea that Niall Horan is the first to have a personal/public Snapchat account … with good reason.
While there are headlines about Liam Payne and Niall Horan goofing around on One Direction’s Snapchat account, Liam was also on Snapchat with Juicy J, according to Hollywood Life.
Around February 16, SugarScape insinuated that Liam Payne could have a “secret” Snapchat account. While they did not know the name of the account, this is not the first time that Liam Payne has appeared outside of the One Direction Snapchat account.
As far as Liam Payne’s rumored Snapchat name, Snapchatted claims that it is “snap_leemop.”
Of course, as UnReality TV points out, Niall Horan fans are especially grateful to get any updates they can from Niall Horan now that One Direction is on break. They also added that one of the things they will be watching for is whether or not Niall Horan use a Snapchat to congratulate Zayn Malik on his new album released on March 25.
Niall Horan may have also realized the importance of Snapchat after he released a message of condolences on social media following the Belgium terrorist attacks, according to UnReality TV.
Alternatively, it is fairly predictable that Niall Horan might be getting a Snapchat account, considering he is about to launch his solo career outside of One Direction. In addition to promising to make music while he is on vacation from the band, Niall Horan has also been working on a golf management company.
In the recent past, Niall Horan announced he was going to host a golf charity fundraiser for cancer research and also added an Instagram and Twitter account for Modest Golf Management.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Niall Horan’s event to launch his golf management company will take place in the U.K. around May 29 and 30 with Justin Rose.
European Tour reported on March 21 that Niall Horan has also been playing golf to prepare for an upcoming tournament starting May 26 that he will participate in. According to their report, Niall Horan said returning to the BMW PGA Championship Celebrity Pro-am was a lot of fun for him and Niall stated the following.
“I can’t wait to be involved again. Hitting my tee shot off the first in front of so many people [last year] was probably one of the most nerve-wracking things I’ve ever done, but once that was out of the way I relaxed and we had a laugh.”
The money that Niall Horan raises from both of these charity golf event will go to fund cancer research. Adding to this, organizers of the event say that they are excited that Niall Horan is at their golf events for ulterior reasons.
For example, Jamie Birkmyre, Championship Director of the BMW PGA Championship, stated in an interview that part of the reason Niall Horan was great for the sport is because he is helping them to attract a younger audience.
In the end, Niall Horan may be helping younger fans get involved with the sport and become the next celebrity golfer, but he is clearly there for his friends and fun.
For instance, in addition to calling pro golfer Justin Rose a close friend, Niall Horan has also been known to hang out with another celebrity golfer: Rory McIlroy.
