No, Kylie Jenner Doesn’t Constantly Dye Her Hair Or Plump Her Lips

Ever since Kylie Jenner took over social media, the teen has been sharing all of her beauty secrets. But people still assume that she consistently dyes her hair or plumps her lips. That’s not necessarily the case.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star stepped out with a new look earlier this week. Kylie Jenner ditched her navy blue hair for something a little lighter. The 18-year-old was spotted wearing a blonde hairstyle similar to the one she wore at New York Fashion Week and at her birthday party last summer. Obviously, it’s a wig, but the Jenner has admitted that she likes to switch things up every so often.

Kylie Jenner stepped out in Calabasas on Thursday, March 24 with her blonde wig. During her sighting, she wore a T-shirt dress and black gladiator sandals. She reportedly wanted to debut her new look while promoting her new Kendall + Kylie fashion line with her older sister. She was also seen wearing the platinum blonde wig at Justin Bieber’s concert in Los Angeles later that night, according to Twist Magazine. Kylie also took to her Snapchat and Instagram accounts to show off her new style.

The reality star recalled that her obsession with wigs started when she started to experiment with different hair colors. She pulled out a photo of her younger self that showed her wearing blonde highlights in her signature dark locks.

“I begged my mom for a year to dye my hair & finally at 9yrs old she let me do this and only this! Changed everything.”

Jenner spoke out about her extensive wig collection to InStyle UK. She revealed her tried and true favorite wig she loves to bust out sometimes.

“My favourite is the plain black one with bangs. When my hair’s been braided or it just doesn’t look good. I’ll wear it for the day, which is so easy. I’ve never been shy about the fact that I wear wigs, so I thought it would be really fun to show everybody my whole collection. I’ve got 15 altogether.”

Earlier this month, the starlet turned heads when she debuted navy blue hair at the grand opening of the Sugar Factory in Orlando. Kylie’s head-turning look was paired with a salmon-colored suede dress and nude pointed-toe pumps. Kylie also took to Snapchat that same day to address to a friend that dying her hair has left it damaged, which is why she favors wigs.

“You’re just such an a**hole because, like, the top of my hair is, like, kind of destroyed from my bleach, so I’m really, like, self-conscious about it,” she says to the friend while showing off her natural black hair.

Earlier this week, Kylie Jenner responded to those lip injection rumors. Some of her fans wondered if she was plumping her lips more often than the recommended two to four months she revealed to the New York Times back in September. In a series of Snapchat videos posted on Monday, March 21, Jenner says that she makes her lips appear bigger by serving some duck-face. She then proceeds to pose with her normal lips and then with her pursed lips.

Check out the photo and video evidence below.

After she demonstrates, Kylie says with a smile, “The fact that we even still talk about my lips is so crazy.”

Speaking of lips, Kylie Jenner also released the latest shade from her ever-growing lip kit line. The newest shade, called Kourt K, was revealed by Jenner on Instagram on March 17, which showed a rich deep purple. It’s possible that the shade has already sold out, but Hollywood Life has some imitation colors you can grab while waiting for the next restock.
