Miranda Lambert Heats Up Anderson East Hookup: Blake Shelton Denies She Discovered Him With Naked Women At Home
Miranda Lambert is heating up her hookup with Anderson East after taking time to heal from her divorce with Blake Shelton. Taking their love to the next level, Miranda met her boyfriend’s parents, according to Us Weekly.
A source close to Lambert told Us Weekly that Lambert was a rock star when it came to making a good impression on Anderson’s parents. They are based in Athens, Alabama.
“Everyone got along,” revealed the source.
To help break the ice, Miranda and East took wine to the meeting with his parents. And they’re not the only parental figures who are happy with the lovebirds. Those close to Lambert are equally enthusiastic about her romance with East.
And Miranda made it clear that she loves the relationship, letting her fans know on Instagram that the snuggle is real, as she wrote in her caption to the picture of them canoodling together.
Comparisons in celebrity relationships are inevitable. How do Miranda and Anderson compare to her relationship with Blake? Lambert is able to enjoy a much more private romance with East than she ever experienced with her country superstar ex-husband.
Miranda and Anderson have been dating for four months now, and they’ve regularly enjoyed date nights in Nashville without getting interrupted, a dramatic contrast to her four-year marriage to Shelton.
“She and Anderson go out in Nashville and nobody bothers them,” revealed the source. “It’s a much calmer, quieter relationship and she’s really happy. She thinks [East is] cool and brilliant.”
As for what really caused Miranda and the country superstar to divorce? Lambert only shared her heartbreak rather than the reasons, pointed out ET.
And Lambert has nothing negative to say about her ex, giving him only praise and gratitude for the experience. In Miranda’s view, what she learned during her marriage provided her with a template for future relationships.
“I had a great relationship with an amazing man,” declared Miranda. “I know what good is. I have a great launching pad for the future. I will never take that for granted.”
As for her future, prior to meeting Anderson, Lambert admitted how much emotional pain she suffered in the wake of her divorce. And going through the pain could mean some rough times.
“Some of that might mean nights on my porch crying, drinking whiskey, and going, ‘Man, this sucks right now,'” added Miranda.
As for what her ex-husband has to say about the reasons for their divorce, he’s more focused right now on slamming a tabloid’s claims that he cheated on Lambert with multiple women, notes USA Today.
Last September, In Touch magazine published those allegations among others. And now the country superstar is fighting back with a $2 million lawsuit against the tabloid’s parent company, Bauer Media.
“Sometimes, in the past, I have responded to stories with humor, as I did when it was rumored in the tabloids that I had heart trouble or that my ex-wife was sending me to rehab,” he said.
But there’s nothing funny in the tabloid claims about what wrecked his marriage to Lambert, points out Shelton. The claims made by the tabloid include the allegation that a combination of cheating on Miranda and consumption of excess alcohol caused his marriage to crumble, and he’s denying all those charges categorically.
“[Miranda Lambert] did not catch me with a bunch of naked women in our Tennessee home one night. Ms. Lambert did not tape me while drinking and then show me a video of myself the following day…I did not handle my first divorce by drinking, nor has my drinking increased or escalated since my divorce from Ms. Lambert.”
