Nick Jonas New Album Announced: Singer Drops Sexy Video And Single ‘Close’ [Video]
Nick Jonas announced a new album on Twitter last night and dropped a sexy video for the first single off the album, “Close,”today.

Jonas took to Twitter to not only reveal that his third solo album would be coming out in June but also to share quite a few details about the album titled Last Year Was Complicated. He pretty much shared all the information a fan would need to know, i.e. who he collaborated with, song titles, what the album meant to him and when it will be available. Plus, he revealed the same of the first single “Close” and when the video for it would drop.
Nick Jonas’ new album is all about how he “can’t get close to someone” but that is not what he intended for the album to be when he first started working on it a year ago.
“When I first started making I thought I knew what it would be about… Then I had a breakup. It then became very clear what this thing would be about… And that I would need to dig really deep. “S— is too real sometimes… Reliving some of these real life experiences through this music is hard. But I know it’s important that I do it. I want to be an open book in my art… Every song is so personal and meaningful to me.”
Last Year Was Complicated, the new album by Nick Jonas, features a number of amazing artists, including Talking Body star Tove Lo who is on the newly released single from the album “Close” Other artists that helped Jonas with this latest project are Big Sean, Ty Dolla $ign and Allen Iverson.

It seems that Nick has been putting on a full court press the last couple of days for his new music. Besides the numerous Tweets and sharing the cover art for the album over nine Instagram posts, Jonas also had a listening party in Los Angeles. He gave the press and some TV bookers the opportunity to listen to four tracks off his album.
Speaking of the tracks on Last Year Was Complicated, Jonas has revealed via individual Tweets the title of every song on the album: “Voodoo,” “Champagne Problems,” “Close,” “Chainsaw,” “Touch,” “Bacon,” “Good Girls,” “The Difference,” “Don’t Make Me Choose,” “Under You,” “Unhinged” and “Comfortable.”
If all the information already shared about Nick Jonas’ new album wasn’t enough to get fans excited for his new music, the singer dropped “Close” today along with a sexy video that also features Tove Lo. The video is steaming hot and shows off not only Nick’s amazing singing talents but also proves, once again, why he is a bone fide sex symbol.
Jonas, keeping up with his press via social media for the album, took to Twitter this morning to announce that the video for “Close” had officially dropped. He also let fans know that the single was now available on iTunes.

The release of Nick Jonas’ new album in June will come right before he heads out on the Future Tour with Demi Lovato. The two are teaming up for a three month tour that will kick off in Florida. If “Close” is an indication of what the rest of the album is going to be like, then it appears the former Disney star will have another hit record to add to his list of accomplishments.
