Is Christina Aguilera Using Miranda Lambert To Get Back At Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton For ‘The Voice’ Raise?

Has Christina Aguilera been plotting against Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton due to their alleged raise on NBC’s The Voice? According to reports, Christina Aguilera has been feuding with Stefani for years, and now that she’s dating Shelton, which is said to have garnered them both a raise, their feud has reportedly reached new heights.

As The Voice Season 10 continues, Christina Aguilera has allegedly enlisted the help of Miranda Lambert in an effort to retaliate against her spotlight-stealing co-stars.

On March 24, the Australia Network published a report that claimed Christina Aguilera and Lambert may be teaming up for revenge on Stefani and Shelton, who was married to Lambert for four years before filing for divorce last July.

“[Christina Aguilera] will make her revenge and regain her spotlight out of the drama by inviting Shelton’s ex-wife, Lambert, to the show as a judge,” the outlet explained.

According to the report, Christina Aguilera had become irate with her lovey-dovey co-stars after learning they had received a raise from NBC, who wanted to see more of their PDA on the show.

“Blake and Gwen are getting an interesting offer from the show’s execs,” a source told Radar Online. “Producers want the two of them to give fans a full-on love-fest this season when she is a mentor on Team Blake, and they are going to throw in huge bonuses for exclusives, such as on-air duets, engagements, etc.”

“[Christina Aguilera] is furious! Christina wants Gwen out of the picture and is already throwing mini-tantrums about it,” the insider explained. “She said that Gwen is ‘not vocally talented’ and would not be on the show at all anymore if it was not for her relationship with Blake.”

Gwen Stefani wasn’t expected to be included in The Voice Season 10, as she and Christina Aguilera have been alternating coaching roles each season since Season 7. However, after going public with Shelton while filming The Voice Season 9, she was asked to return to the show as a mentor for Shelton.

Although Christina Aguilera may be causing a stir on set, Stefani and Shelton continue to enjoy their new relationship. According to the source, Christina Aguilera’s antics are far from a concern for Shelton.

“Blake really does not care what [Christina Aguilera] does or says,” the insider said. “He is a completely different person now because of Gwen, so much more laid-back. He said that he’s grateful the show is the reason that he and Gwen found each other.”

Since Christina Aguilera’s co-stars debuted their relationship in November of last year, they have been sharing special moments with fans and getting to know one another better as they continue facing rumors of pregnancies and plans for a wedding. Meanwhile, Christina Aguilera has been involved in a relationship with Matt Rutler for years, and in 2013, they welcomed their first child together.

Christina Aguilera and Rutler are also business partners, and just weeks ago, it was announced that they would be working together on a new music game show for Spike TV. As Variety reported on March 15, Christina Aguilera is listed as an executive producer on the new show, titled Tracks, while her fiance, Rutler, would have the same title.

“Having finely tuned my ear for music over the years, I thought it would be fun to test other folks and see if they can identify a track — with a twist — since contestants will have to focus on a single component of a song,” Christina Aguilera said in a statement. “I’m excited to have ‘Tracks’ debuting on Spike TV, and proud to have this as the first project springing from our first-look deal with Lionsgate.”
