Behati Prinsloo And Adam Levine’s Marriage On The Rocks? She Debuts Her Bump As He Parties In South America

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo recently announced they are expecting a child. However, while Prinsloo debuted her baby bump in New York, Levine was off partying in South America this past weekend. Is this a further sign that their marriage is in trouble?

According to Radar Online, Levine was spotted flying into Rio de Janeiro over the weekend.

The Maroon 5 frontman was in the country to perform a few concerts. Levine appeared more than happy during his stay in Rio, even though his wife was nowhere in sight.

In addition to being away from his wife, Levine also celebrated his birthday all alone. Despite eating his cake with nobody around, Levine revealed that it was the “best birthday” he’s had in a post to Instagram.

“For my birthday yesterday I sat in bed all day with the shades drawn eating this cake completely alone. It might have been the best birthday I’ve ever had,” Levine wrote alongside a picture of his half eaten cake. “I took time to reflect on so much and had a moment to genuinely appreciate the life that I have and the incredible people I have in it. I highly recommend taking at least one birthday in your life and keeping it to yourself. It f**kin RULED. And that cake was GOOD.”

According to Enstarz, Levine is now 37-years-old. Although he spent the weekend away from his wife, that didn’t stop Prinsloo from making a public appearance and showing off her new baby bump.

In fact, E! Online is reporting that the model appeared in New York City and proudly displayed her pregnant status. Prinsloo posed for cameras while attending an event in honor of her joint efforts with Juicy Couture.

Behati Prinsloo wore a perfectly fitting black gown for the party with a long chambray jacket. This marked the first time Prinsloo has appeared in public since announcing her pregnancy. Based on the photos, Prinsloo is more than happy about becoming a mother.

The baby announcement was made last month, and Prinsloo apparently already knows if it’s a boy or a girl.

“She knows what she’s having and she’s very excited,” an inside source told the outlet.

The news of a coming baby was not all that surprising, especially considering how Levine hinted about starting a family after he tied the knot with Prinsloo in 2014.

“Year, we’re gonna do it at some point in the not-so-distant-slash-undisclosed-slash-I-really-have-no-idea-big-question-mark future,” he shared. “I love kids so much… I love seeing kids on the set, too.”

Although Levine is currently away on business, he did stop to promote his wife’s new line with Juicy Couture. In a post to Instagram, the Voice judge shared a sexy photo of his wife in a white T-shirt.

“My super duper bad a** wife @behatiprinsloo has her own line coming out for @juicycouture on 4/15/16. Get it. It’s super awesome,” he wrote alongside the image.

Whether or not Levine’s marriage is on the rocks is still unclear. With a baby on the way, it is curious that Levine has not lessened his workload in order to be home with his wife. Perhaps as Prinsloo gets further along in her pregnancy, Levine will make more time for her and the baby, but only time will tell.

In the meantime, at least Prinsloo has fellow model Candice Swanepoel to lean on while Levine is gone. Not only are the two best friends, but they are both currently pregnant and more than thrilled at becoming mothers.
