NeNe Leakes Gets Huge Raise To Return To ‘RHOA’: What Is She Getting Paid?

NeNe Leakes took a break from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but now she is back, and it sounds like they want to keep her around. The show just isn’t the same when NeNe isn’t there. Radar Online shared the news that NeNe was offered a really large raise to stick around for another season of the show. So how much will NeNe get paid to return? She was offered $2.5 million to come back to RHOA next season of the show. Of course, NeNe Leakes isn’t going to turn down that kind of payday.

An insider from the show shared the details about why they think NeNe is worth this much and why Bravo will pay her $2.5 million to be on the show.

“NeNe is always a ratings plus for the show. And the producers want to make sure the show stays strong. The reason it stays strong is NeNe, so they’re throwing money at her.”

The source went on to share that NeNe Leakes will always hold out for as much money as she can get, and this payday is a pretty good one. NeNe is smart and will “string the Bravo people along forever in order to cash in,” according to the source. No word on what they offered her at first, but NeNe Leakes got a big amount that she must be happy with considering she didn’t turn them down.

At this time, Bravo is still airing the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion show. The new cast this season didn’t go as well as planned. They added Kim Fields to the show, but Kim is already leaving. Us Magazine shared that Kim Fields was done with the reality show. She recently confirmed it on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show. Right now, she is staying busy by competing on Dancing with the Stars.

Here is what Kim had to say about being done with the show that NeNe Leakes can’t seem to get away from.

“It feels more like Brett Favre and the Jets, you know — I’m done. I think about too, at the beginning of the season, what did my mama say? ‘Get in and get out.’ Listen to your mama. It was for the experience. It was to be able to do a genre that I’d been asked to do before and finding a way to do it that made sense for my team and for the family. Overall it was a really great experience.”

Now that Fields is leaving, they will need someone to replace her. Bringing in someone new is always a gamble, but if they clash with NeNe Leakes, that makes for great drama on the show. Kim’s big feud was with Kenya Moore, but the next person could be feuding with NeNe, and she is one person you don’t want on your bad side. The rumors aren’t really flying yet about who will be joining NeNe on the show next season, but you know there are a lot of people wanting a chance to become a housewife. They do seem to change up the cast every few seasons anyway.
