Khloe Kardashian Explains Lamar Odom Friendship, Hints At Reconciliation?

Khloe Kardashian and her estranged husband, Lamar Odom, have been in touch since his October 2015 overdose, but does that mean the former pair is ready to reconcile? Although Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom over two years ago, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star requested the proceedings be thrown out as Odom recovered. And while he’s been home from the hospital for two months, she has yet to refile.

As speculation continues into the possible reconciliation of Khloe Kardashian and Odom, the reality star took to her official website, where she explained her decision to keep in touch with Odom, as well as other exes, including French Montana.

“Just because you break up with someone doesn’t mean you lose that connection,” Khloe Kardashian wrote in a new blog entry, via a report by Drum Magazine on March 23. “I always want to feel like I can say hi to anyone I’ve had a relationship with if I saw them in public. I never want to go anywhere and be nervous because so-and-so is there.”

Khloe Kardashian was dating James Harden when Odom was hospitalized in Las Vegas. While the couple attempted to keep their relationship going as she tended to Odom’s health and he traveled the country with the Houston Rockets, they called it quits months ago, leaving Khloe Kardashian single — and facing even more rumors of her and Odom’s possible reunion.

Continuing on to fans, Khloe Kardashian spoke of Odom specifically.

“If it’s a relationship that served a purpose in my life, like Lamar, why wouldn’t I want them in my life afterwards?” she asked.

As for hookups, however, that’s a far different story.

“I don’t need to stay friends with a guy I f**ked for two weeks.”

Khloe Kardashian also touched on her relationship with Scott Disick in her blog entry to fans. As viewers of Keeping Up with the Kardashians will recall, Khloe Kardashian and Disick were extremely close during Disick’s nine-year relationship with her sister, Kourtney Kardashian. According to Khloe, she and Disick remain in touch.

“He was a huge part of our family and always will be,” Khloe Kardashian said of Disick, the father of Kourtney’s three children, Mason, 6, Penelope, 3, and Reign, 1.

Disick has even continued to appear on the family’s E! Network series in the months since he and Kourtney split and will likely continue to do so as the show continues to film.

Although Khloe Kardashian may not have plans to reconcile with Odom, at least not at this point in her life, a source claims he may feel differently about their future.

“[Khloe Kardashian] has been his inspiration,” an insider told Hollywood Life. “He still has caregivers to keep an eye on him, but he’s been practicing basketball and hitting the gym and weight room. His dreams of returning to the NBA may be far from reality, but his hope of what might be possible is keeping him motivated to make progress and work hard every day. Just like returning to the NBA may be a pipe dream, so is a reconciliation with Khloe, but both are dreams of his and keep him dedicated to work hard. If he can achieve either dream, NBA or get back with Khloe, it would be the ultimate comeback.”
