Christina Aguilera Irate That Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani Earn ‘Voice’ PDA Bonus: Will Miranda Lambert Join Feud?

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani allegedly have been tempted by big bonuses to heat up their hook-up on The Voice. And the concept of giving her rivals cash for their canoodling has got Christina Aguilera “furious,” according to a source cited by the Mirror.

With the lovebirds given plenty of chances in their roles as mentor and coach, The Voice producers supposedly have provided monetary incentives for flaunting their flirty fun. Christina, as a result, is venting her frustration about the situation.

“Producers want the two of them to give fans a full-on love-fest this season when [Gwen] is a mentor on Team Blake, and they are going to throw in huge bonuses for exclusives, such as on-air duets, engagements, etc,” revealed the source cited by the Mirror.

“Christina is furious… and is already throwing mini tantrums about it,” added the insider.

Moreover, Aguilera allegedly contended that her rival has no vocal talent, and that Stefani is on the show only because she’s the girlfriend of another coach.

Now, Christina has found a way to get her revenge. Aguilera is plotting to achieve more publicity for herself while getting back at Shelton by recruiting his former wife, Miranda Lambert, according to She Knows.

Christina already has allegedly been fuming that after reigning as the favored female coach for so many seasons, she’s been replaced by Stefani. That’s resulted in extensive tension between the two. Although Aguilera initially saw this season of The Voice as the ideal opportunity to make her big comeback and regain the spotlight, her plans were foiled by the attention given to the PDA parade going on between the country superstar and No Doubt front woman.

As a result, Christina has been searching for ways to restore her prestige, and she thinks she may have found it in Miranda. Aguilera has already reached out to Lambert to turn her into a pal as well as a duet partner on The Voice.

A look at the history of what happened when Christina took a hiatus from The Voice indicates just how she fell from the top female coach spot to today. After devoting so many seasons on the singing competition to gaining attention for her role as the sole female coach, Aguilera had decided it wouldn’t hurt to take another season off.

But Christina never anticipated that when Stefani seated herself in that big red chair that Aguilera had warmed season after season, she would quickly became more popular than Christina among fans. Add in the magical chemistry between the country superstar and his girlfriend, boosted by their flirty fun on The Voice, and Aguilera has found herself on the outside looking in at the popular couple.

By persuading Miranda to join her, would Christina succeed in shutting down the PDA parade on The Voice? And if it was just one duet that Lambert and Aguilera performed, would it really fire up the feud that much or change the situation?

Shelton really doesn’t care what Christina does, because he’s too busy focusing on his girlfriend, a source told Radar Online.

Moreover, the country superstar points out that it is only because of The Voice that he found a new love. As a result, he’s grateful, and not even Aguilera and her anger can change that.

“Blake really does not care what Christina does or says,” revealed the source. “He is a completely different person now because of Gwen, so much more laid-back. He said that he’s grateful the show is the reason that he and Gwen found each other.”
