‘The Bachelorette’ 2016 Spoilers: JoJo Fletcher Has Found A Football Playin’ Frontrunner

The Bachelorette just started filming its 12th season last week, and it looks like things are moving fast for leading lady JoJo Fletcher. According to a source for Us Weekly, an insider for the long-running ABC reality show has revealed JoJo has already chosen a frontrunner. The Bachelorette star is said to already be smitten with 27-year-old Jordan Rodgers, who just happens to be the brother of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

“He and JoJo are really hitting it off. He’s a front-runner already.”

Like his brother, Jordan Rodgers is a player — a football player, that is. According to SB Nation, The Bachelorette contestant played ball at Vanderbilt University and was later an undrafted free agent in the NFL, playing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Miami Dolphins, and the Jacksonville Jaguars before landing a job as a quarterback for the BC Lions in the Canadian Football League. He sounds like a great “catch” for JoJo. Pun intended!

For the upcoming season of The Bachelorette, showrunner Mike Fleiss is trying to stay one step ahead of the spoiler sites. Fleiss has been live-tweeting JoJo’s dates and has even posted a few insider photos while filming on location. According to Fleiss, JoJo had a great one-on-one date with a guy who could use a shave (hey, Rodgers has some scruff!), and the Dallas beauty has already upped her kiss tally to 4.5 smooches. (But seriously, what’s a half a kiss?)

Fleiss even posted a photo of Fletcher right before her second rose ceremony. You can bet Rodgers got a rose from The Bachelorette star that night!

Of course, half the fun of being The Bachelorette is the chance to play the field with a couple dozen suitors, and it’s still really early in the season, so a lot could happen. But there is no discounting the fact that many show alums have said they felt a connection with their eventual final pick early on, so JoJo’s frontunner could most certainly stay front and center throughout Bachelorette filming and up to that final rose ceremony. Still, in addition to her dreamy date with Rodgers, JoJo was also spotted getting cozy with a tall, dark-haired suitor in a Mustang convertible. The duo drove to the Burbank airport and boarded a private plane.

In one of his many tweets, Fleiss predicted The Bachelorette beauty will find love by the end of the season. He also reiterated that JoJo is taking her role as The Bachelorette “very seriously” and that she hopes to find a love like Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell have.

In an interview with People, The Bachelorette star said she wants to find someone who “makes me laugh, someone who is kind and genuine and adventurous.” JoJo also said she is more ready than ever to find her husband, especially after being on the receiving end of Ben Higgins’ indecisiveness and double dose of “I love yous.” Higgins famously told both JoJo and Lauren that he was in love with them, a definite Bachelor no-no, so don’t expect this burned Bachelorette to do the same thing.

“I understand loving two people at once but I definitely will make sure that it’s exactly what I’m feeling before I say it. Because I know what it’s like to have that said to you and then to potentially be disappointed and let down. So I’ll be cautious of that.”
