Kim Richards Surfaces On Instagram, Plots ‘RHOBH’ Season 7 Return
Kim Richards recently surfaced on Instagram for the first time in a while. Although the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s social media posts have been few and far between since she suffered an alcohol relapse early last year, she wished her friend a happy birthday days ago.
“Happy Birthday Pamela.. Love you so much,” Kim Richards wrote on Instagram on March 19. “You are my Friend and my Glam Girl, dedicated Mother, Daughter & Friend… May all your Dreams come true, love you, Kim.”

Earlier this month, after returning to a guest role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 6, Kim Richards attended the reunion with her co-stars and sister, Kyle Richards, and according to a report, her appearance was welcomed.
“[Kim Richards] made a triumphant return to film the reunion and everyone was very happy to see her,” a source told Radar Online on March 16. “Her sister Kyle was very emotional and so happy to see Kim received with such an outpouring of love. Kim said she was sober and had been going to AA meetings.”
“It was clear that [Kim Richards] was using this as the opportunity to make the case for her return next season. She kept saying how good it was to be back and how much she missed everyone,” the source continued.
In 2015, after relapsing, Kim Richards was arrested not once, but twice. The reality star’s first arrest took place in April, when Kim Richards reportedly got drunk at the Beverly Hills Hotel’s Polo Lounge and became a disturbance to patrons. After police were called to remove her from the facility, the reality star reportedly became irate, and was accused of kicking an officer. Months later, Kim Richards found herself behind bars once again after reportedly stealing more than $600 worth of items from a Target store in Los Angeles.
Although the reception to Kim Richards’ return was quite good, the reunion taping wasn’t without incident, as the former child star reportedly “lit into Lisa Rinna about comments she had made in the past…and took exception to statements made that Lisa was scared of Kim. It was clear that Kim was hoping to get a reaction from Lisa. But Lisa took the high road and refused to let Kim get the reaction she was clearly hoping for. Lisa apologized to Kim for any pain she caused her, which was the last thing she was expecting.”
In addition to Kim Richards’ briefly heated moment with Rinna, there was also a controversial moment involving Yolanda Foster, which prompted the Lyme disease sufferer to storm off stage during production.
“Yolanda was getting very defensive, and started crying, as if that might stop the barrage of questions,” the insider told Radar Online. “It didn’t, and it ended with Yolanda storming off the set.”
As for Richards, the source added, “Kim just wants to be offered a formal contract to come back because she needs a paycheck. There are bills to pay!”

On March 21, Brandi Glanville, a friend of Kim Richards, promoted her own return to the show on Instagram along with a photo of Richards and Yolanda Foster. In the caption of the photo, which featured Glanville sporting an “It’s Not Fun To Be Sober” T-shirt while walking alongside the newly sober Kim Richards, Glanville promoted the sale of the infamous shirt worn during production on season 6.
