Corey Simms Goes After ‘Teen Mom’ Producers: Is He Leaving The Show?

Corey Simms has been very critical of Leah Messer on Teen Mom, and he doesn’t hide his feelings. On the previous season of Teen Mom, Corey wanted to expose his ex-wife, as he strongly believed that she was popping pills. He even met up with Jeremy Calvert to talk about her health, something that Leah claims was staged because Jeremy doesn’t like Corey. However, it sounds like Simms is furious with MTV producers, because he feels that they weren’t showing Leah’s struggles in an honest light.

According to a new Radar Online report, Corey Simms is apparently furious with the show and with the producers, because he was labeled as the bad guy. Of course, Leah is the “teenage mother” who the show is about, so fans often get one side of the story. So, when Simms decided to pursue full custody of his twin daughters, he was quickly labeled as the bad guy. And he isn’t happy about it.

“Corey feels MTV did him dirty,” a friend of the West Virginia native explains, revealing that Corey thinks that the producers went easy on her, adding, “He thinks they had the perfect opportunity to show viewers, ‘This is what happens when you get on drugs, this is the reality.’ Instead, they made it seem like Corey was constantly attacking Leah for no reason.”

Corey Simms has always been very protective of his family, especially since he’s only filming the show to share his story. There have been rumors that he wanted to leave the show and he has already deleted many of his social media profiles. It sounds like he doesn’t want to get the public’s opinions about his custody battle.

Leah’s behavior was documented on Teen Mom, and she was slurring her words when she was filming the show. Plus, she was nodding off when she was holding her niece in her arms. This was the first time that fans truly saw her struggles on the show. But Corey Simms claims that this is just the tip of the iceberg, and that plenty of things happened when the cameras were not around.

“Corey told MTV just what he thought about the situation, and said that he and Miranda would not film nearly as much as in past seasons,” the friend reveals, adding, “Producers understood.”

It sounds like Simms and his wife, Miranda, won’t be on the show too much this season. He feels that the producers are taking Messer’s side and he doesn’t think it is fair for himself and Miranda. He is constantly being labeled as the bad guy, who wants to take their twins away from her. Back in October of 2015, he was granted primary custody of the twins, but just months later, she went back to court to fight the decision — and she won. Apparently, the primary decision was based on school records that were false, and she decided to fight them.

According to Perez Hilton, it sounds like Miranda and Corey are not pleased with the producers and they have hinted that they are boycotting the show. Maybe that will show fans how Leah is handling everything. In the season premiere last night, Leah admitted that things are going better, but she still struggled to get her children to school on time. As she explained during the show, Corey enrolled the girls in school about 45 minutes away from her home, which made it hard for her to get them to school on time.

What do you think of Corey Simms’ decision to distance himself from Teen Mom? Do you think Corey has a case for himself?
