After Andy Cohen’s ‘Read’ Of Kenya Moore, He Tweets ‘RHOA’ Intro Showing Him Holding A Peach Front And Center

Has The Real Housewives of Atlanta already cast a new cast member for its ninth season? And will it be not a woman, but a man? After Part 1 of the Season 8 reunion show aired on Sunday night, host Andy Cohen tweeted a new introduction for the show. The new opening credit shows himself up front and center holding a peach as the rest of the Season 8 cast, Phaedra Parks, Porsha Williams, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, and Kim Fields, surround him. Like the rest of the housewives, he has on a big smile and does a little pose with his head as he holds out his peach.

Alas, Andy was just joking about how he got his peach last night, referring to the fact that viewers saw him hand out a few insults of his own to the housewives, in particular to Kenya Moore, as he hosted the reunion. Instead of staying neutral and letting the housewives do most of the talking, he engaged in arguments himself.

Andy doesn’t seem to have any regrets about “reading” the housewives. He retweeted a viewers’ tweet that Andy learned how to “read” from the housewives themselves.

Prior to the reunion airing, there were some hints that viewers will see Andy speak out a lot more. A bingo card for the reunion included a square that says, “Andy reads!

On his Instagram page, Andy teased that he was as, if not more, “shady” than the housewives. He admitted that he “went for it.”

During Part 1 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 reunion show, Andy Cohen seemed impatient and fed up with Kenya Moore. During the discussion regarding Kenya’s problems with new cast member Kim Fields, Andy brought up some viewers’ opinion that Kenya is simply jealous of Kim.

“Listen, I’m not going to take anything away from the fact that she was a child star,” Kenya replied.

“She’s also continued working since then,” Andy countered.

“Yes, in the ’90s, she did,” Kenya responded.

“You were Miss USA in the ’90s,” Andy quipped back.

Andy’s retort back to Kenya made the other housewives chuckle. Sheree Whitfield in particular loved it. She whispered to couch mate Kandi Burruss that Andy got in a “good ol’ read” himself.

“Look at Andy. Andy got a good ol’ read over there.”

Kenya continued on to say that she believes Kim is condescending and thinks she’s better than everyone else in the group. Kenya pointed out that Kim said, “I’m Kim Fields,” to her husband after their heated argument with one another in Jamaica. Andy pointed out that Kenya does the same kind of thing.

“If you’re walking around saying, ‘I’m gone with the wind fabulous,’ isn’t that your own declaration?”

At another moment, Kenya called out Andy for chewing something as he hosted the show. Andy apologized and said he was going to swallow it. Kenya reminded Andy that he said that before many times. Andy jokingly shot back that Kenya can’t speak to him the same way she does to Kim.

“Ooooooh. Now I’m not Kim Fields now.”

Andy Cohen also chided Kenya for seemingly texting as the reunion filmed.

As the Inquisitr reported, Kenya Moore watched Part 1 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 reunion show as it aired with co-star Kandi Burruss. Videos that Kandi posted of their night together shows them laughing over what happened during the reunion. Yet, not everyone found Kenya’s behavior and words funny. She received a lot of critical comments on her Instagram posts regarding the reunion. Shortly after Part 1 finished airing, Kenya set her Instagram page to private. The next morning, she posted a message that indicates that she’s not letting what others think and say of her get to her.
