‘Teen Mom’ Star Kailyn Lowry Talks Miscarriage: Has It Changed Her Marriage?

Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry has revealed that she has suffered a miscarriage. This news came out during the Teen Mom trailer for this upcoming season and it sounds like she’s heartbroken over the news. Plus, her husband, Javi Marroquin, really wanted this child and he was hoping that things would work out for them. It is a heartbreaking moment, and it is very possible that this issue could cause some trouble for them, as they have experienced marital troubles before on the show.

According to a new People report, Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry is now speaking out about the miscarriage and she reveals that it was heartbreaking for her to share on national television. Luckily, MTV gave her space to deal with the issue before filming her for the show.

“MTV and the producers were very sensitive to the situation and just understood that I wasn’t necessarily ready to talk about it as soon as it happened,” Lowry has revealed of the miscarriage she experienced during the filming, adding, “They kind of just gave me my time to grieve, and when I was ready and felt like I was comfortable talking about it, I did.”

Of course, these girls often share the good, bad, and the ugly on the show, but they are able to keep some things for themselves. Kailyn Lowry could have easily kept the miscarriage to herself, but she decided to share her journey on the show, so she could help others who may be struggling with a miscarriage.

“I know that there are people that are going to talk about it, but I think at the end of the day I’m going to help more people by [being open] about it, so that’s what kind of keeps me going through the whole thing,” Kailyn Lowry reveals of her decision to share this emotional journey on the show, adding, “I’ve had a ton of people… saying that they can relate, they’ve been through it. Even ones that can’t relate, you know, they’re just very sympathetic towards the situation.”

Javi was heartbroken when he learned that Lowry had miscarried their second child together. And when Kailyn learned she was expecting, her friend was also pregnant. And Lowry admits that it is tough to watch her friend go through her pregnancy, as she is currently pregnant. Maybe Kailyn is hoping that she would be the one expecting a child right now.

“I like to think that everything kind of happened for a reason – I’m not really sure what the reason was yet for that, but I’m just constantly reminding myself that there was a reason why this happened,” she said, adding, “So, I don’t know, I guess we’ll see how everything plays out when I rewatch it.”

These days, Javi is currently deported, which means Kailyn Lowry has to rewatch Teen Mom all by herself. One can imagine that it will be emotional to watch the episode where she learns of the miscarriage. Plus, it is hard to keep the relationship and marriage healthy when he’s away. Right now, Lowry is taking care of the couple’s one child, plus her son from her relationship with Jo Rivera.

“It gets tough,” Kailyn Lowry reveals to People, adding, “I think that you’ll see some parts of it being hard, and it’s emotional, and there are some happy parts, like [we’re] trying to stay positive through everything. It can make or break a relationship. We’re handling it the best way that we can, so I have no worries or anything.”

According to EnStarz, Kailyn may face more divorce rumors this season, as she could be showcasing her troubles with Javi once again. It’s no secret that these two were close to divorcing once already, so one can imagine that things aren’t perfect between them.
