Did Britney Spears Photoshop This Instagram Bikini Photo?

Britney Spears is being accused of photoshopping a stunning new bikini shot she posted to her official Instagram page on March 20.

Spears celebrated the first day of spring by posting a stunning photo of herself sporting a bright yellow bikini while lying by a pool for her more than 9 million followers, but what really got fans talking wasn’t just Britney’s incredibly toned figure.

Instead, a number of Spears fans accused the popstar of photoshopping her most recent pool snap, claiming that the “Hold It Against Me” singer had edited the photo to make the arch of her back look higher and her waist appear smaller.

The Daily Mail is reporting that a number of confused fans accused Britney of editing the bikini picture, with several claiming that Britney had altered the photo so much that the edge of the pool she was lounging by had been completely removed from the image.

“The gap in your back should be stone, not water. Bad photoshop,” The Daily Mail reported that one Britney fan commented on her poolside snap, while another commented that Britney’s highly arched back “doesn’t look real.”

“She’s beautiful but there’s something wrong with the pool’s border,” another Instagram user wrote in the picture’s comments section according to the site.

Instagram user @norbert90 also noted that the image looked to have been edited, writing underneath the photo, “There’s water where the edge of the pool is supposed to be…” after social media user @uvemmanuelli commented that Britney’s bikini photo was a “Photoshop fail.”

“HOLY photoshop!!!! Get real girl, you should be ashamed,” @madaml29 added to Spears.

But while a number of fans called out Spears for her latest body showcasing post, it wasn’t all editing accusations in the image, which has already received more than 179,000 likes, comments section.

“I’m happy to say that it looks like you are at peace and enjoying the finer things in life,” Instagram user @santamonica4eva commented on Britney’s stunning bikini snap, while @karianneam wrote alongside the image, “Gorgeous body, Brit Brit!!” @marinelakan even noted “She’s back!” in the photo’s comments section.

But while Britney is yet to confirm or deny reports that she got a little help from photoshop for her latest bikini body photo, we do know that Spears has been using the social media site to show fans that she’s most definitely been getting into shape in recent months.

Spears has shared a number of selfies from the gym over recent weeks, including one that also featured her niece, Lexie, where Britney impressively gave fans a glimpse at herself successfully doing the splits while showing off her toned midriff in a crop top and short shorts.

In another fitness photo Britney shared with her millions of Instagram followers on January 9, the pop superstar revealed that she’d been hard at work perfecting her yoga poses in recent weeks. “Yoga yoga… feelin better and getting back on the mat!!” Spears captioned the photo, which showed her toned figure leaning against a wall.

Spears recently revealed that she’s been working hard in the dance studio as she revamped her uber-popular Las Vegas ‘Britney: Piece of Me’ residency shows, which are currently scheduled to run into 2017.

Britney revealed to the Las Vegas Sun last month that she had been hard at work “creating choreography” for the revamped Sin City show, which then resulted in “weeks of dance rehearsals” to perfect the new look concert. “It’s a lot of moving parts. It makes me tired just thinking about it all!” Spears told the site.
