Confession Or Con? Joran van der Sloot Writes 500 Page Book On Natalee Holloway

Though many people, including the father of Natalee Holloway believe that the statements being made lately by Joran van der Sloot, from behind the bars of a Peru prison are merely lies to get sent to Aruba, van der Sloot is pressing on, and says that he has written a 500 page book detailing his murder of Holloway,

According to the Inquisitr, Joran van der Sloot gave his admission to a reporter who went undercover as a prisoner, and van der Sloot’s wife, who doesn’t speak any of his languages, and would be left behind with their child in Peru if he was moved to Aruba for an investigation. Joran van der Sloot, even while confessing to a brutal murder, lets his ego get the best of him, and says that he easily outsmarted the police of Aruba. Joran van der Sloot is currently in prison for the murder of another young woman, Stephany Flores, in Peru.

Radar Online says that the authorities in Aruba will be able to read Joran van der Sloot’s 500 page book to see exactly what he is confessing to, in reference to the murder of Natalee Holloway. Joran van der Sloot pled guilty in 2010 to murdering Stephany Flores, and now he is ready to confess to doing the same to Natalee Holloway.

Joran van der Sloot says that his book, written with a ghost writer, portrays him as a terrible person. Joran van der Sloot says he is ready to confess in the Holloway case.

“It’s completely over. In every way you can imagine,” he said. “Then the case will be solved and this is done.”

Joran van der Sloot says that the book is written in two parts, and the first is the Holloway case. He says the second part is about his gambling history and problems, in Aruba and otherwise, that led to his problems. Joran van der Sloot says he is now telling the truth, but he has lied so much in the past, especially about the Holloway case, nobody will believe him.

But van der Sloot says he wants a major payday for his book, to take care of his family, which has never concerned him in the past, including his mother, his wife, a Peruvian local he picked up and impregnated while in prison, and his child.

“I want the maximum amount of money,” he said. “… So I can take care of my family financially.”

It is unclear if other countries let convicts profit from their crimes, but the Son of Sam law in the United States doesn’t allow it.

AL.com out of Alabama spoke to Beth and Dave Holloway, Natalee Holloway’s parents, who are scoffing at van der Sloot’s latest lies, dismiss him. Both Holloways say that this is van der Sloot’s latest publicity stunt, and believe nobody should listen to him, and just let him spend the next 20 years in prison.

“Tabloids will pay for (his story) because it sells magazines, but that’s never printed.”

Dave Holloway says that Aruba does not accept this form of confession is not valid, but van der Sloot knows this, and is looking to get something out of it by creating drama.

Beth Holloway, now Beth Twitty, says van der Sloot set this all up for his benefit, and nobody else. Holloway Twitty spoke out through her attorney, John Q. Kelly.

“He’s looking directly into the camera when he speaks and I would venture a guess that it’s either a cellmate or a guard who is filming for Joran and selling it and splitting the proceeds with Joran.”

Everyone involved thinks that once again, van der Sloot is working all of the angles in the Holloway case. Joran van der Sloot has done this before, lying to German television by saying that Natalee Holloway’s body was in a march in Aruba. Holloway’s body was not found where van der Sloot said it was, or anywhere else.

Do you think Joran van der Sloot is lying again about the Holloway case?
