Nicki Minaj And Meek Mill Share A Message About Value: ‘Cherish PEOPLE While You Have The Chance’
Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill took to Instagram last night to share a cryptic message about learning to “value” and “cherish” people just days after Minaj took to Twitter to shut down newly surfaced breakup claims between herself and the Philly rapper.
On Saturday, Meek Mill took to Instagram to share a cryptic post featuring a chart with the title, “The value of something,” with corresponding columns that read, “Before you have it,” “When you have it,” and “After you lose it.”

“Facts of life,” Meek Mill captioned his reflective post, leading some fans to speculate that Meek Mill may be missing Nicki Minaj while the rapper is currently on tour in South Africa. Meek Mill is currently serving a 90-day house arrest sentencing as a result of his probation violation stemming from a 2009 gun and drug conviction, TMZ reports.
“Lol I had to steal this,” Minaj began in her caption. “This is so true. But it should say PEOPLE, not something…Things truly have no value. But people do. Cherish PEOPLE while you have the chance.”
While Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill found themselves at the center of breakup rumors last week, which suggested that Meek Mill’s house arrest sentencing was putting a strain on the couple’s relationship, Minaj recently spoke out against the split claims while also dishing on her future plans for a family with the “All Eyes On You” rapper.
According to TMZ, a source close to Nicki Minaj revealed to the site that Nicki and Meek were on a short break as a result of “friction” between the duo in regard to Meek’s house arrest, noting that the couple got into a “big fight” that remains “unresolved.”
Despite the claims, Minaj took to Twitter to silence the split rumors, telling fans, “S/o to these fake stories ~ who’s ready for the show tomorrow?”

Nicki further dispelled whispers of an impending split for herself and Meek Mill during an interview with NYLON for the magazine’s April 2016 issue, telling the publication that while she and Meek aren’t engaged “yet,” Meek already refers to Nicki as his “fiancée.”
“I’m not engaged yet. He said that my third ring would be my engagement ring. But sometimes he calls me his fiancée,” Nicki explained. “I’m always trying to stop him, like, ‘Nope! I ain’t got that third ring yet!’ We’re just taking it one step at a time.”
Nicki also revealed her desire to start a family once she and Meek Mill are married, telling the mag, “If I get married, then I’ll have a child, and that’ll be fun because I can’t wait to hold my baby.”
While fans eagerly await news of Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj’s engagement, Minaj also revealed that she’s working on a follow-up to 2015’s The Pinkprint.
When asked about her plans for releasing new music, Nicki explains that she doesn’t want to rush her fourth album so that she can have time to “just live my life” and reflect her newfound happiness in her music.
“I wanted to take a moment to just live my life, enjoy my life, have fun, go out. I think that’s very important before you start writing again,” Minaj explains. “It’s a spiritual experience for the people who are hearing the music, so I’m trying to be very careful of what mental space I’m in while creating it. Now, I want my happiness to be reflected in the new stuff.”
