‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6, Episode 15: Who Goes Missing In ‘East’ And Why?

The Walking Dead season 6, episode 15 airs next Sunday on AMC. Given the simple title of “East,” what can TWD fans expect from the characters? Spoilers reveal that someone is going to go missing. Who ends up disappearing and are they found dead or alive? Do they leave on their own or is the fan-favorite taken? Hold on tight, TWD fans, we have the answers to these questions and more.

Spoiler TV released the synopsis for The Walking Dead season 6, episode 15, titled “East.” One TWD character, a fan-favorite, is going to end up missing, and the residents of Alexandria will organize a search party to look for this individual.

So, who goes missing? It is never made clear in the synopsis who exactly goes missing in The Walking Dead. However, The Spoiling Dead Fans revealed someone is found in the season 6 finale. It seems clear that it is the same individual, which is Melissa McBride’s character, Carol Peletier. According to the TWD spoiler fan page, Morgan (Lennie James) ends up locating Carol after finding her bloody rosary near a dead walker. However, she is injured, and despite allowing Morgan to tend to the wound, Carol doesn’t seem interested in going back home.

Now that we know who goes missing in The Walking Dead and which character finds the vanishing group member, why did Carol leave and where did she go? All we know right now is that in The Walking Dead season 6, episode 15, Carol ends up at a library camp. However, in December 2015, Hidden Remote came across another TWD spoiler for “East,” courtesy of The Spoiling Dead Fans. Apparently, Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) is out looking for Dwight, determined to get revenge “for her.” Glenn (Steven Yeun) says that “she is gone.” Who are Glenn and Daryl talking about?

As Inquisitr previously reported, Denise (Merritt Wever) dies in The Walking Dead season 6, episode 14. Daryl and Denise had just started to become friends. It was made clear in a previous episode that Daryl reminds Denise of someone she used to know, possibly her twin brother, as a TWD fan speculated in Spoiler TV‘s advance review of The Walking Dead. Denise will die by being struck in the head with Daryl’s crossbow, which Dwight stole. So, this explains why Daryl is looking for Dwight and how he gets his crossbow back. But what does this have to do with Carol going missing in The Walking Dead?

My theory is that Carol will feel tremendous guilt over Denise’s death. Maybe The Walking Dead character will feel that killing Paula and the other Saviors led to Dwight killing Denise. Lately, Carol has been feeling guilty about a lot of things. She is conflicted and wants to do the right thing. However, what is the right thing in the zombie apocalypse? While Daryl is searching for Dwight to get revenge, I think Carol will go on her own mission. Will The Walking Dead character leave Alexandria to find Dwight herself, or to figure out who the rest of the Saviors are and kill them before they can kill anyone else in Alexandria? This might explain why in The Walking Dead season 6 finale, Carol doesn’t want to go back with Morgan. Part of Carol feels guilty for killing anyone. The other part of McBride’s character will do whatever is necessary to protect her family, but how does she justify her actions to herself?

As fans of The Walking Dead know, Dwight isn’t the only problem for Rick’s group. Negan is coming and Rick’s group will have to answer to the things they have done. But will they be able to afford the high price?

What do you think of Carol Peletier going missing in The Walking Dead season 6, episode 15? Do you have theories on why Carol leaves Alexandria?
