Jeremy Calvert And Girlfriend Brooke Wehr Visit NYC For ‘Teen Mom 2’ Filming
Jeremy Calvert and Brooke Wehr recently traveled to New York City, where he was participating in filming on the Teen Mom 2: After Show specials. While there, the ex-husband of Leah Messer and his girlfriend shared a couple of photos on social media.
“Someone needed a nappy,” Jeremy Calvert wrote on March 18, along with a very dark photo, presumably of Wehr taking a nap.
The following day, March 19, Wehr shared a photo of herself and Jeremy Calvert in their NYC hotel room.
“#lastfullday #nyc #myman,” Wehr wrote in the caption of her Instagram photo.

While Jeremy Calvert wraps up his trip to NYC, a report has surfaced claiming he is planning to leave Teen Mom 2 after production on Season 7comes to a close.
“[Jeremy Calvert] is over it,” a source told The Ashley’s Reality Roundup on March 18. “He’s tired of being attached to this show, and now that he and Leah are divorced, he doesn’t want to be part of her drama. He’s tired of dealing with all the negativity that comes from him being on the show, too.”
Jeremy Calvert married Messer in 2012 after less than a year of dating. One year later, they welcomed their first child together, Adalynn Faith, now aged 3. Then, after feuding on Teen Mom 2 Season 5, Jeremy Calvert’s marital struggles continued into Season 6. After accusing Messer of cheating on him with her ex-boyfriend, the couple got divorced.
In addition to reportedly leaving the show, Jeremy Calvert is also said to have plans to ensure his daughter, Adalynn, is also not seen. According to the report, Calvert does not want the toddler growing up known as the “kid from Teen Mom 2,” and because both parents are required to sign off on Adalynn’s participation in filming, he can easily remove her from the series.
“If Jeremy refuses to sign off, Addie cannot appear, regardless if Leah wants her to. Both custodial parents have to agree,” The Ashley‘s source explained.
And while MTV would likely attempt to entice Jeremy Calvert with an increased rate of pay, it is doubtful that he would be interested, as he already has a high-paying job outside of the series.
“[Jeremy Calvert]’s one of the only cast members with a ‘real’ job,” the source said. “He makes an impressive amount of money on his own, so money’s not really an issue for him like it is with some of the other cast members who completely rely on their Teen Mom 2 income to live off of. He works all year, so the extra income from the show actually kind of screws him over come tax time.”
As for Jeremy Calvert’s girlfriend, Wehr, she embarked on filming for Teen Mom 2 Season 7 earlier this year after a brief split with Calvert at the end of 2015. During the show, she was reportedly featured in an on-camera meeting with Messer. According to the outlet, Messer “did not handle it well,” but fans will have to wait until the season premiere to understand why.

In addition to Messer’s apparent issues with Jeremy Calvert’s girlfriend, she is also not on good terms with her first husband Corey Simms’ wife, Miranda, after admitting to sleeping with Simms during last year’s reunion special (their affair took place during her marriage to Calvert).
