Mera ‘Justice League’: Amber Heard Confirms Her Role As Queen Of Atlantis, What Will Her Costume Look Like?
The question of who will play Mera in the Justice League movie has been answered. Amber Heard has confirmed that she has accepted the role of the Queen of Atlantis. With news that Mera would be in Justice League, fans were curious as to what her outfit would look like. Heard gave some hints as to what she will look like in the Justice League movie.
“It’s interesting. It’s like, half suit of armor, half scales. It’s strange… We’re in the process of building it now, so it’s coming along.”
Mera, the queen of Atlantis, is attached to Aquaman as his wife. Heard’s first appearance as Mera will take place in Justice League Part One, which is set to hit the big screen in November 2017. Heard also confirmed that Mera will be in the Aquaman movie that will be released in 2018. It is still unknown if her character will appear in Justice League Part Two, which is slated for a release on June 14, 2019.
In an interesting development, Heard will have to play her character while being directed by two different directors. Zack Snyder is slated to direct Justice League Part One and James Wan will be directing Aquaman. Hopefully, the directors will get together at some point in order to make sure that she is the same in both movies. If the directors each try to make Mera and Aquaman in their own vision, fans may lose interest in both movies.
The Justice League movie is one of the most anticipated comic book movies in recent history. Besides seeing Amber Heard as Mera, fans will see Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, and the DC holy trinity of Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.

Superman will finally hit theaters. It is speculated that it could take in over a billion dollars as fans clamor for the chance to see their childhood idols together on the big screen.

DC fans across the world got goosebumps when the DC holy trinity stood together towards the end of the Batman V. Superman trailer.
