Bette Midler Blasts Kim Kardashian Again, Jokes About Her ‘Enormous Back-End’
Bette Midler is blasting Kim Kardashian once again, just two weeks after the two got into a Twitter war after Midler slammed Kardashian for her most recent nude photo.
Midler’s most recent Kardashian Twitter blast came on March 18 after Midler joked to her more than 900,000 followers that she was hoping Kim would donate to her charity because she has, what Bette described as, an “enormous ‘back-end.'”
“I wanted [Kim Kardashian] to donate to #StagesForSuccess; she’s a brilliant businesswoman,” Bette told her Twitter followers. She then said, joking, “I know this because her ‘back-end’ is enormous!”
Midler’s latest message about Kardashian follows her recent plea to Kim asking her to donate to her charity, Stages For Success, which Bette has described on the a campaign’s Crowdrise fundraising page as “a campaign to modernize outdated and dysfunctional public school auditoriums.”
Bette previously asked Kardashian to donate to the cause on Twitter, where she jokingly photo shopped a snap of herself in her underwear behind a cardboard sign that asked Kim and her fans to put their selfies to work. “.@KimKardashian Put your selfie to work… for a good cause!” Bette Midler wrote, “Donate, RT, I’ll match $$ 2-1!”

Though Kim has yet to respond to Bette’s request to donate to the cause, Midler’s “back-end” pun comes after the two got into a social media spat earlier this month after Bette publicly slammed the reality star after she posted yet another nude selfie on her official Instagram page on March 7.
Following the media storm that surrounded Kim’s latest naked snap, Bette tweeted out, “Kim Kardashian tweeted a nude selfie today. If Kim wants us to see a part of her we’ve never seen, she’s gonna have to swallow the camera.”
Bette’s social media message caused quite a stir on the 140-character site, having been retweeted more than 100,000 times in just than two weeks, and even caught the attention of Kim herself who fired back on the site with a pretty scathing message of her own.
“Hey [Bette Midler] I know it’s past your bedtime but if you’re still up and reading this send nudes #justkidding,” Kim wrote on Twitter before alleging to her millions of followers that Bette once sent her a gift in the hopes that the two may become friends. “Hey [Bette Midler] I really didn’t want to bring up how you sent me a gift awhile back trying to be a fake friend then come at me,” Kim replied, before adding the hashtag “#dejavu.”
Midler then responded to Kim’s message, once again blasting the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star for being unable to take take what she described as a joke on her part. “[Kim Kardashian]: I never tried to fake friend you,” Midler wrote. “Looks like anyone can take a selfie but not everyone can take a joke…”
Following Kim’s somewhat surprising reply to Bette’s social media slam, fans of the reality star speculated that it may actually have been Kardashian’s husband, Kanye West, who hit back at Bette following a slew of bizarre social media rants of his own over the past few weeks.
However, Kardashian denied that it was anyone but her who sent the scathing message, which also included a message to actress Chloe Grace Moretz who also condemned Kim’s photo, instead telling her followers that she can be “funny too.”
“Wait I can’t believe people thought Kanye or Khloe hacked my Twitter. I swear I’m funny too!!!” Kardashian noted on March 8, just minutes after she opted to post yet another nude photo of herself on social media.
