Director Rupert Sanders was spotted out and about for the first time since apologizing profusely for making out with Twilight star Kristen Stewart. Things seem like they could be on the mend between he and his wife, as well. Sanders stepped out wearing his wedding ring.

It’s been about a week since shocking photos of Snow White and the Huntsman director Sanders and starlet Stewart locking lips went public. While the flirtatious affair effectively destroyed Stewart’s relationship with Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson, Sanders’ relationship with his model wife Liberty Ross might be pulling through, as the director stepped out in public for the first time since his affair hit the media, wearing his wedding ring.

Although, according to Yahoo!News, Sanders and Ross have not been seen in public together since the affair, Sanders’ wearing of his platinum wedding ring is a “pointed message about his marriage to wife Liberty Ross,” notes the DailyMail.

Sanders publicly apologized when the news of his mini-affair with Stewart broke, saying, “I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family,” continuing, “My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world.” Stewart’s apology has also been the subject of much media attention. “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry,” she said in a statement.

Sanders’ wife, Liberty Ross, has been mostly mum since the affair went public, simply tweeting “WOW” before deleting her Twitter account. Robert Pattinson, the other wronged party, hasn’t really said or done much of anything, except move out of his shared home with Stewart. According to People, Pattinson is “heartbroken and angry.”
