Body Of Adriana Coronado Identified — Was She Murdered By Dad’s Killer?

The body of missing teen Adriana Coronado has been located and positively identified, after a high profile search attracted attention from across the nation. Channel 2 News Houston reported that the identification was made just two days after the grisly discovery of the young woman’s body.

The 14-year-old Texas girl became the subject of an Amber Alert when the body of her father was found slain in their home. Adriana was immediately declared missing, and authorities feared that she could have been kidnapped by the persons responsible for the murder of her father.

Adriana Coronado’s body was located on Wednesday after authorities responded to a call claiming that there was a dead body near the road. Big Country News reported that the body was located at 11100 Mayfield Road, in Walker County. Details about the condition of Adriana’s body have not been released to the public, but it’s widely assumed that the teenager was murdered — in particular, because her father was found violently slain when she was discovered missing. His body had been burned, and so was a vehicle that is believed to be connected to the crimes.

A man is also reportedly being sought out in connection to Adriana’s kidnapping, and her father’s homicide. Surveillance footage reportedly showed the mystery man running from a burning vehicle, which has been linked to the death of Adriana Coronado’s father, whose body was found burned. Unfortunately, the surveillance footage isn’t the highest quality, and was captured in the dark, so the possible suspect’s face can’t be easily identified. Authorities have declared that it would take someone who personally knows the man to identify him from the footage that has been obtained. Hopefully they’re right, and someone comes forward if they recognize him.

Even though this person has not yet been identified, the existence of the security footage at least confirms that there is at least one male potentially involved in the deaths of both Adriana Coronado and her father. The video in question has been released to the public, in hopes that someone who knows the unidentified man comes forward with information.

On social media, the search for Adriana Coronado attracted a huge amount of interest, with numerous people hopeful that she’d be located safely. Along with expressions of concern and grief, the internet has also produced a host of speculation surrounding what may have brought on the murder of Adriana’s father and her kidnapping. Now, an outpouring of grief is being spread across social media following the news that Adriana’s body has been found and positively identified.

Hopefully authorities in Texas can get to the bottom of what brought on this horrifying series of events. At this time it’s just not known what led to the apparent slayings of Coronado and her father. Police have also specified that they do not know any apparent motive in these crimes.
