‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ Spoilers — Everything We Know About The ‘Secret’ Cameos

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is finally right around the corner, and the updates about the movie have been anything but lacking. This last week was no different with Entertainment Weekly’s huge feature about Dawn of Justice and the greater DC movie universe.

Fans already knew that Aquaman, played by Jason Momoa, has a cameo in Dawn of Justice, but according to Screen Crush, another character has now been confirmed to be in the upcoming film.

That character is none other than Barry Allen a.k.a The Flash. Portrayed by Ezra Miller, Warner Bros confirmed some details about Barry Allen’s cameo, revealing that The Flash appears to Batman (Ben Affleck), in a dream sequence similar to what is seen in the trailers.

However, it should be noted that the Flash has time-bending and time-traveling powers so it might not be a dream sequence. The Flash delivers a “cryptic messages” to Bruce Wayne in the scene, possibly a warning, which leaves Batman curious if they are a prophetic or something else entirely.

Affleck has already stated that when it comes to his fight against Superman, the discovery of other super-beings is “both hopeful and terrifying” to Batman, who views them as either potential threats or great allies.

As for Aquaman, director Zack Snyder along with Warner Bros, have kept a tight lid on the details involving him. But the director did mention who actress Jena Malone won’t play in the film, keeping all the other details concerning her a secret.

“I think we should keep it private, but it’s nothing that’s been talked about,” Snyder says. “She’s definitely not Robin or Batgirl. I’m happy to say that.”

Alongside info regarding The Flash, Zach Snyder also told Entertainment Weekly about a special R-rated director’s cut of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice that will be released on Digital and DVD.

“There’s a couple, like, Ahman Green, the running back from the Green Bay Packers, he’s in it.” Snyder revealed in the interview. “And C.T. Fletcher is like this bodybuilder muscle-guru from Compton, this awesome guy. He’s amazing, and he’s in it. And then there’s just a lot of these Easter Eggs in the Director’s Cut that I think are gonna be fun for everyone…There’s one giant one that I won’t tell you about yet that speaks to what’s gonna go on in the greater Justice League universe.”

Superman Supersite notes that it was recently announced that Jena Malone’s scenes have been cut from the film’s theatrical release but will be featured on the “Ultimate Cut” edition.

In other news regarding the much anticipated film, actor Henry Cavill, who plays Superman in Dawn of Justice, took to his Facebook page to hit fans with a brand new image of himself as Superman. The image isn’t much at a first glance, just Superman walking though what Cinema Blend believes is a courthouse. But it was enough to get fans even more anxious about the film, if that is even possible at this point.

Of course, this isn’t any courthouse. All dressed up in his Superman attire, Cavill is walking alone down the halls of the courthouse where he is potentially facing a trial for the repercussions of Man of Steel.

After the prequel to Dawn of Justice left Metropolis in ruins after the heavy-weight throw down between Superman and General Zod, it appears those actions will be a major theme in Dawn of Justice.

According to reports, in order to pay for his actions at the end of Man of Steel, Superman will be facing both government laws and Batman himself in the upcoming film. And Cavill’s post strikes at the heart of that.

Tall, muscular, dressed in his signature red and blue suit, Superman really stands out amongst the rather weak earthlings, who in the image can’t help but stare. It’s a subtle reminder that even though Superman grew up on Earth, he definitely isn’t from there.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice charges into theaters into theaters on March 25.
