Macaulay Culkin Returns To Acting For First Time In 5 Years

Macaulay Culkin, who came into prominence thanks to his role of Kevin McCallister in the hit 1990s movie of the Home Alone, is now 35-years-old, and it looks like the actor is serious about returning to acting, according to the Daily Mail.

Macaulay Culkin, who was reportedly struggling with drugs for years, is now considering a return to acting as he filmed scenes for The Jim Gaffigan Show in New York last weekend. The Home Alone star was photographed wearing a red shirt with a gray jacket and a button featuring the Union Jack.

Macaulay Culkin, who had his blonde hair hanging loose and combed over to the side, was photographed standing outside a window of The TV Land comedy’s Soho set where The Jim Gaffigan Show is filmed.

The Jim Gaffigan Show, in which Macaulay Culkin will make a guest appearance, tells the story of Jim Gaffigan’s life and how the comedian struggles with his family and his standup career. The photos showed Culkin standing with a megaphone in hand.

Macaulay Culkin is also filming for a hallucinogenic movie version of Aladdin, directed by Adam Green. It was reported that the Home Alone actor will play the role of Ralph, and the movie will be a parody of the classic tale of Aladdin.

The trailer for Green’s Aladdin was released just last week, according to The Verge. And the movie starring Macaulay Culkin, Zoe Kravitz, Penn Badgley, and Natasha Lyonne, looks quite hallucinogenic.

Adam Green worked with Macaulay Culkin on The Wrong Ferarri, a film that was shot with an iPhone. It seems as if Green knows how to approach the modern movie industry with fresh ideas.

In his interview with Twin, Aladdin‘s director revealed that he wants the movie to retell the classic tale of Aladdin with a modern approach.

“In my version the lamp is a 3D printer that prints out an analogue version of the internet. And the Princess is sort of like a Kardashian who’s on the Sultan’s reality show.”

That description already sounds like great fun, but there is more to it than that. Green revealed he used papier-mâché to create costumes and the set in order for the audience to get an authentic feeling that Macaulay Culkin and his co-stars are “inside a real life cartoon.”

Aladdin, starring Macaulay Culkin, will premiere in the U.S. and Canada on April 15, while the rest of the world will witness the hallucinogenic story of Aladdin on May 12.

Meanwhile, Mila Kunis has recently addressed rumors claiming she is cheating on her husband, The Butterfly Effect actor Ashton Kutcher, according to Movie News Guide. The Ted actress also denied rumors that she is reportedly having private meetings with her ex-boyfriend Macaulay Culkin.

However, Kunis didn’t deny the fact that she had seen Macaulay Culkin on several occasions lately, but those meetings happened only because the Friends with Benefits actress was helping the Home Alone actor to get back to acting.

The actress also suspects that the rumors about her supposedly clandestine meetings with Macaulay Culkin are spread by the same people that claim her husband is cheating on her. According to rumors, Kutcher is cheating with a massage therapist.

But the actor denied the rumors on several occasions. Kutcher also addressed the rumors that his wife was seeing Macaulay Culkin, claiming that he is certain that all of his wife’s former boyfriends are just friends. He also noted that he knew about the “professional meetings” between Culkin and his wife. Kunis insisted that she and her husband are still “very much” happily married.
