Is Gwen Stefani Engaged? Rumors Claim She & Blake Shelton Are Getting Married

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton appear to be ready to take the next step in their relationship. Since the couple began dating last year on the set of The Voice, they’ve been enjoying one another’s company from California to Oklahoma, and throughout their relationship, Shelton has grown close to Gwen Stefani’s kids.

Gwen Stefani started off 2015 on a bad note, when her husband, Gavin Rossdale, was reportedly caught engaging in a three-year affair with their former nanny, Mindy Mann, which overlapped with Gwen Stefani’s third pregnancy. According to an Us Weekly report in November of last year, a member of Gwen Stefani’s staff informed her of the alleged affair in February, and shocking messages between Rossdale and the nanny were reportedly discovered on the family’s iPad.

Because Rossdale didn’t admit to his rumored infidelity until months later, Gwen Stefani waited until August 2015 to announce they were parting ways. Ironically, Shelton and his wife, Miranda Lambert, announced they were divorcing just weeks prior. However, it wasn’t until November 4, 2015, when Gwen Stefani and Shelton’s romance was officially confirmed amid filming on The Voice Season 9.

While Gwen Stefani and Shelton were believed to have been dating in secret for at least a short time leading up to their romance, their relationship seemed to intensify at rapid speed after they made their debut at a Country Music Awards after party. Just weeks later, Gwen Stefani was rumored to be expecting Shelton’s baby.

“[Gwen Stefani] made an appointment with a doctor in Late October, after signs pointed to her being pregnant,” a source told OK! Magazine, via Hollywood Life. “She’s already changed her lifestyle in preparation for the possibility. And Blake would be thrilled to finally become a dad.”

And as for Shelton, the source alleged, “He’d love to have a son he could raise to be an outdoorsman, just like him.”

As outrageous as the report seemed at the time, the allegations continued. Even after Shelton joked about the issue, claiming he was “fertile” on Twitter, more reports surfaced. In addition, others claimed Gwen Stefani and Shelton were planning to tie the knot after she proposed to him.

“Blake asked [Gwen Stefani] what she was thinking and Gwen just blurted out, ‘Let’s get married’!” an insider told In Touch Weekly, via Hollywood Life. “Blake didn’t even blink and said, ‘Let’s do it’! That’s how it started and now they’re not looking back. [And], they’ve agreed that just disappearing for a few weeks would be ideal. They’re thinking someplace very laid-back and tropical, like Mexico.”

While Gwen Stefani and Shelton have yet to confirm news of a possible engagement or pregnancy, their lovey-dovey behavior has continued into the new year. As time goes on, Shelton appears to be getting closer and closer to Gwen Stefani’s sons. In fact, Zuma, Gwen Stefani’s second son, was in the audience last week when Shelton hosted the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

They were also recently seen enjoying a day out in Los Angeles.

According to a March 17 report by US Press, Gwen Stefani and Shelton recently took her three sons to dinner and a movie, as seen below.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are currently starring on The Voice Season 10, which airs on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC. During Season 10, Gwen Stefani is acting as a mentor for her boyfriend’s team.
