Jared Fogle Prison Beating Just The Beginning Of His Problems, New Lawsuit

Former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle’s time in prison is going to feel like longer than his 15 years, between weight gain and beatings by other inmates who don’t like child molesters. But today, a lawsuit was filed by a minor who could make life even worse for Fogle.

According to the Inquisitr, Jared Fogle got a serious beatdown from another inmate, an armed robber named Steven Nigg, who left Fogle beaten and bloody, and he only walked away with a bruised hand after being pulled off of Fogle. It seems that Nigg has no tolerance for child molesters, and they send him into a blind rage. Nigg was put into solitary confinement after the beating, but in terms of sentences, Nigg will still get out of prison before Fogle.

The Daily Beast is saying that the “pudgy Subway pedophile” is in serious trouble, and the big problems are just starting. A new lawsuit was filed today against the former Subway spokesman, his children’s charity director, and the director’s wife for filming the minor in Fogle’s homemade kiddie porn.

The girl, who is still underage, is seeking $150,000, because Fogle and his best friend captured photos and film of her using hidden cameras in Fogle’s Indianapolis home. Fogle and the charity director, Russell Taylor, swapped these photos between themselves and other pedophiles, distributing the images across state lines.

Russell Taylor’s wife, Angela, is also named as a defendant, likely because some of the girls in the child porn are relatives of Angela Taylor, and it has been suggested that she procured and groomed some of the girls for her husband and Fogle.

Add the blow of this current and likely not last lawsuit to the blows Fogle has taken in his minimum security prison, and Fogle is having a bad stay in the clink. Also, it is alleged that Fogle is in danger of more beatdowns, as pedophiles and child molesters are considered the lowest of the low, even amongst the prison population.

Russell Taylor is spending more time in prison than Jared Fogle. He is serving 27 years but has been begging a judge for a reduction in his sentence after spending less than a year so far in prison. His wife, Angela, was not part of the criminal suits, but she is mentioned in the civil suit, because at the very least, she should have known that her home was not a safe place for minors.

People Magazine is revealing that Jared Fogle’s days of being a VIP at celebrity events are over and that within the walls of the prison in Colorado, Fogle is right to fear for his life. They are saying that Fogle, the former Subway pitchman, should be concerned at least for his physical safety.

Larry Levine, a prison consultant who did 10 years himself, guides others facing time in prison on how to survive the ordeal. Fogle has been complaining that he is constantly a target of prison ridicule.

“He’s been slapped around fairly consistently since the start of his sentence…it just hasn’t been reported.”

Fogle has been warned to keep his distance from a number of inmates who are just looking for a reason to beat him up. Steven Nigg, who gave him the worst beating so far of his prison stay, says he simply cannot bear to be around child molesters and that they trigger a violent reaction in him.

“There’s a pecking order in prison, and at the top, you’ve got the guys who’ve killed people – gang members, organized crime affiliates.”

Child molesters are at the bottom of that pecking order.

Do you think former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle should fear for his life in prison?
