WWE Rumors: Post-‘WrestleMania’ Plans Revealed For Bray Wyatt — How Long Will He Be Out Due To Injury?

Bray Wyatt may be one of the strangest individuals in all of WWE, but he’s certainly one of the most talented in the ring and on the mic. He’s also a unique superstar who is very different from all those currently on the roster. Wyatt has been the subject of many rumors this past week, and now it is known how long his back injury will keep him sidelined and what the company’s post-WrestleMania 32 plans are for him.

The “significant” back injury that Wyatt recently suffered is expected to keep him out of action through WrestleMania, but not an extended period of time.

Originally, the plans called for Bray Wyatt to take on Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 32, and that started being built right before the Royal Rumble. WWE was building hard toward that match, but then dropped it out of nowhere, and some believe it was due to internet leaks.

Actually, it was believed that all of The Wyatt Family were being buried due to storylines getting out.

Then, there was the highly-anticipated Roadblock match between Lesnar and Wyatt that was expected to be a violent brawl. Luke Harper was added to it at the last minute to make it a handicap match, and Bray never tagged in even one time.

That was due to the back injury.

Now, there is not a single member of The Wyatt Family who has been scheduled for the huge pay-per-view in early April. Erick Rowan, Luke Harper, and Braun Strowman may end up in a tag match or likely will be in the 3rd Annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

What Culture even pointed out that the rumored Strowman vs. Undertaker feud was scrapped weeks ago.

It’s been believed that WWE had some plans for Wyatt that were bigger than could be contained on a WrestleMania event. Many fans find that hard to believe, though, because of the way the entire Wyatt Family has been buried in the past couple of weeks.

According to the Wrestling Observer, there are still some really big plans in place for Bray Wyatt once WrestleMania 32 is over and his back injury totally heals.

Dave Meltzer hasn’t elaborated on when Wyatt’s back injury actually occurred, but it is thought to have happened on the SmackDown before Roadblock. That was his last match and the last time he has been physical at all.

It looks like WWE’s plans for Wyatt vs. Brock Lesnar are still in place, and there could be a WWE World Heavyweight Title feud for him in the near future as well.

“[Wyatt’s] supposed to do something with [Brock] Lesnar at some point, he’s supposed to do something with Roman Reigns again, they’re supposed to go back to that, It sounds like Bray is going to be the top heel down the line, and that hasn’t changed. It’s not like the injury is so big that they have to redo that.”

Not only is Bray Wyatt going to have a key feud with Brock Lesnar, but he is likely moving onto a feud for the WWE Title after that. Roman Reigns is expected to walk out of WrestleMania 32 with the WWE Title, and Wyatt could finally go after a title, which is something he hasn’t really done yet.

One week, it seems like WWE is totally disrespecting The Wyatt Family, and the next week, it’s as if they are pushing them to the moon. Bray Wyatt does indeed have a back injury that will sideline him for a bit and have him likely miss WrestleMania 32, but he will be back. When he does come back, it looks like programs with Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns are the plans.
