Young Thug Throws Major Shade At Rich Homie Quan During California Concert [Video]

Is it Rich Homie Quan or “B***h Homie Quan”? To Young Thug, it appears to be the latter, as he called him this multiple times during a recent show in California.

A couple of years ago, Thug and Rich Homie Quan were in similar situations on the tough Atlanta streets while trying to make a name for themselves. While both managed to make it, no doubt with the help of Birdman, the two men have experienced fame in very different ways. Young Thug’s following has grown to epic levels, partly because his music and partly for his eccentric style. Thug is known to not eat for days at a time, openly smoking marijuana, wearing women’s clothing almost exclusively, and taking to social media with his rants against people, most notably at this time Rich Homie Quan.

Despite the two rappers’ apparent beef, in which Rich Homie Quan initially showed sadness, fans continue to clamor for them to work together. This appears to be more and more unlikely as Young Thug continues to make strong statements against Rich Homie Quan, particularly during concerts.

At a recent concert in Santa Ana, fans caught him on video saying “Hey, F**k Homie Quan” more than once. While the nature of the hard feelings is not apparent, the behavior is not new. Young Thug has a history of suddenly calling people out during concerts. While it’s not known if it’s a publicity stunt, it definitely leaves many people puzzled, according to XXL.

However, Rich Homie Quan hasn’t exactly taken the angst lying down, telling a fan at a concert, “Back your a** up, looking like Young Thug with your gay a**.”

Known to perform in tutus, Young Thug’s sexual preferences have been highly scrutinized, although he is said to be engaged to a female. When the discord between the two originally started, Rich Homie Quan seemed sad and perplexed.

“Not hurt as in I’m gonna cry, but dog, bro, I would never disrespect you, point blank period, especially when we have each other’s numbers. There’s certain stuff you do and certain stuff you don’t do.”

Fans continue to take sides, and some have decided it’s all about publicity. Some fans even suggest it’s like a lover’s quarrel. Users on YouTube have expressed as much.

One user said they were on and off every day, and another suggested that’s because they are lovers. The verdict on their relationship is still out, but Young Thug’s eccentric style and strange taste have propelled him into a stratosphere few can touch. He has had major brushes with the law, which included being accused of the drive-by shooting of Lil Wayne’s tour bus in Atlanta, which he denies. He was also charged with threatening to kill a mall security guard, and a possessions charge after numerous drug paraphernalia were found in his Atlanta home.

Even after all that, a U.S. judge allowed him to go on tour internationally, and he is extremely famous in Europe. He seemed to love the culture and got in no trouble there.

According to Rap Up, Young Thug is currently on tour, with a performance scheduled at Los Angeles’s Novo by Microsoft venue for today. That tour segment ends in Denton, Texas, on April 29. Meanwhile, Rich Homie Quan has been steadily releasing new music, including “Wikked” and “Born For This.” He seems determined to let Young Thug know that he’s not the only one to have finally arrived on the scene, which may be some of the beef. Plenty of fans have Rich Homie Quan’s back. And while Young Thug has a steady fan base, it’s possible they are growing tired of his negativity.
