Chris Brown ‘Unbothered’ By Karrueche Tran Feud, ‘Back To Sleep’ Singer Laughs At Instagram Video
Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran may have shut down rumors of reconciliation following their heated Instagram spat last weekend, but it looks like Brown is still poking fun at the drama surrounding his feud with Karrueche on social media.
Last week, Chris Brown and Karrueche made headlines for exchanging harsh words on Instagram after Brown dissed Karrueche’s manager, Jacob York, on the social media site. While fans were holding out hope that the former couple would reunite following the release of Chris Brown’s “Back To Sleep (Remix),” in which he apologizes to Karrueche for being unfaithful in their past relationship, it seems Karrueche is adamant about her decision to distance herself from Brown following their split.
While Chris Brown initially neglected to respond to his ex-girlfriend’s video, Brown took to Instagram on Wednesday to weigh in with his thoughts on a fan-created video aiming to poke fun at Tran’s response to the reunion claims.
In the video, obtained by the Shade Room, Karrueche’s “nope” response is integrated into Brown’s verse from his “Back To Sleep (Remix)” just before Brown shouts the line, “You want me to say your name girl? Okay, Karrueche!” Fans further pointed out that the original version of the video was previously shared to Brown’s official Instagram page, although the video contains some NSFW language.
In response to the humorous video, Chris Brown took to the comment section to share several laughing-crying emojis, leading some fans to interpret Brown’s “unbothered” reaction as a dig towards Karrueche’s response to the paparazzi in regard to the reunion claims.
The news comes on the heels of reports suggesting that Karrueche is upset with Chris Brown for continuing to bash her on social media. An alleged source close to Tran reveals to Urban Islandz that Brown is purposely taking his anger out on Karrueche because of the model’s refusal to reconcile.
“[Chris Brown] can’t get [Karrueche] back so he does what he does best [by taking] his anger out on her. He can’t get Rihanna and he can’t get back Karrueche so he resorts to bashing them and lets his fans troll them on social media,” the source speculates.
The source continues by calling Chris Brown a “bitter ex” and notes that while Karrueche still “loves and cares about him,” the model “will never get back with him unless he changes his attitude and deals with his anger.”

During their tense Instagram dispute last week, Chris Brown slammed Karrueche’s acting career by telling his ex-girlfriend that her film projects “go straight to DVD” while further suggesting that Tran’s friends won’t stick around once her talent “starts to simmer.”
In his now-deleted Instagram comment to Karrueche, Chris Brown tells Tran, “ok miss tran, I wish u the most successful career ever! But I promise you this, once this ‘TALENT’ you have starts to simmer, so will everyone else including Jacob, all of your famous friends know u how? How? How? How? How?.. Ok. So to end this petty game that’s gonna allow u to book more club apperances and ‘MOVIES’ that go straight to DVD I’ll leave you this *heart emoji*!”
