Kendall Jenner is one of Hollywood’s latest “It” girls. She is one of the most popular young celebrities on Instagram who boasts a huge following. These days, girls everywhere want to know what it takes to look like Kendall Jenner.
The 20-year-old model is sharing some of her diet and fitness tips. So, how does one get a lean and long body like Kendall Jenner? Surprisingly enough, you don’t have to spend hours at the gym each day, and you don’t have to go on a strict diet. Even Jenner admits she doesn’t usually train that hard. In a new interview with People’s StyleWatch, Jenner openly admitted that she hasn’t worked out since her big debut at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in November 2015. She hasn’t even trained for Fashion Week.
“I’ve been really, really bad and I literally haven’t worked out since the Victoria’s Secret show in November. I’ve been so bad.”
But Kendall did train hard when it came time to wearing her angel wings for the very first time. She revealed that her training involved a lot of working out in and outside of the gym.
“I worked out so hard for that, like, literally every single day – sometimes twice. I’d go to my trainer, then I’d go for a run a couple of hours later.”
The reality star doesn’t like to work out inside an upscale gym. Believe it or not, she would rather be at one with nature. Kendall shared some of her tips for those couch potatoes who would rather stay home and look at their Instagram feeds while barely walking on the treadmill.
“I love running outside. You can go run on a treadmill but it’s not really the same. I used to be the most athletic kid. I was always outside. I was super outdoorsy running around in the mud and doing that kind of stuff. I don’t ever do that [now]. You’re always like stuck inside, you’re always in a gym, or you’re always in your phone or whatever. So to actually to get outside and run outside, I like it. I enjoy it.”
When it comes to Jenner’s diet, she says that she takes it easy on herself when she does have big fashion shows on her schedule. One of Jenner’s favorite snacks is chili cheese flavored Frito’s. If she wants to snack, she would have to give her sister Khloe Kardashian a visit, who’s notorious for keeping double stuffed Oreos in her glass cookie jar.
“She has the greatest snacks ever. She always has. Literally I walk in her house it’s dangerous.”
Kendall Jenner proved that she’s just like us by grabbing some fast food late last month in London, as seen in OK! Magazine.
Back in November, the brunette beauty divulged some of her fitness and diet secrets for her busy Fashion Week schedule. In a post on her website and app, she admitted that her plan is a lot of hard work, but it’s obvious that it’s brought her some incredible benefits. Just look at her tummy! Kendall also admitted that she’s not that committed to working out, but she knows she has to keep her tummy toned at all times due to her provocative photo shoots.
“To be honest, I could probably be lazy and not work out and still look the same – but I’m not like that. I’ve always been really active. I like to work out to feel better about myself. I do a lot of photo shoots with my stomach showing, and it just feels better to know that I can wear a crop top – or nothing, lol – at a last-minute shoot and not be worried about it. It’s all about feeling good about my body and being confident at work.”
When it comes to training hard, Jenner boxes at the Gotham Gym in NYC with her BFF Gigi Hadid. If she happens to be in Paris or London, then she’ll use the hotel gym.
When Kendall’s back in L.A., she will train with Khloe’s personal trainer Gunnar Peterson every day she’s available. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day for Kendall. To start her day off on the right foot, she will eat a bowl of avocados and eggs with oatmeal.
