Spice Girl Mel B Hints Victoria Beckham Is Difficult Towards People, And Spice Girls Reunion

Spice Girl Melanie Brown, aka Mel B, got candid about an array of topics while on the podcast show Allegedly. On the podcast, Mel B spoke about the possibility of a Spice Girls reunion, and the problem that Victoria Beckham has.

It’s widely known that the Spice Girls are on board for another reunion, and have been on board for years, but Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, is the one putting the kibosh on everything. Aside from moving on from the Spice Girls in favor for her fashion empire, it’s been rumored for years that Victoria Beckham has a certain way about her that isn’t exactly complimentary.

Mel B didn’t shy away from answering whether or not Posh Spice is a diva, and actually said that she’s a “b***h.” That said, Brown did highlight Victoria’s attributes, even if she is a little nasty towards some people.

“She’s very down to earth. She’s just a little bit of a b***h to people.” Brown downplayed the moment by saying that Victoria has a “great sense of humor.” She seemed to backpedal and said that the whole group could be, “b***hes at some point.”

As for the rumors that the remaining four girls will do a Spice Girls reunion, Mel B, the Spice Girl, didn’t give too many hints because nothing was concrete yet.

“It’s a never-ending question. The thing is we are in talks with each other, closely about this reunion. So until there’s something official to say there’s no point in saying anything. Until there’s tour dates to announce, tour dates, then there’s point in talking about it until it actually happens.”

She continued, “I do feel it’s getting closer and closer.”

The last time we saw the Spice Girls on stage together was at the 2012 London Olympics, where the girls performed a medley of their hits. Although many suspected that they would tour again, the group only reunited another time in 2012 for their musical, Viva Forever: The Musical, which played on the West End in London.

In 2016, with their 20th anniversary looming, rumors have persisted that the girls will reunite.

The Sun reported about the news.

“The four members of the world’s best-selling girl group — with the nicknames Scary, Sporty, Ginger and Baby — made the decision at a secret meeting in London last month. They will soon begin negotiations with tour promoters and choose their new management team.”

The source said the following of the reunion and its anticipation.

“This will be one of the biggest pop reunions of all time. There is a huge demand for the Spice Girls to get back together, especially with the nostalgia around the two-decade anniversary of their first release next summer.”

Even though it’s still a possibility, it doesn’t seem like Posh will be included, so it wouldn’t be a true reunion that fans are hoping for. That said, there’s still rumors that the Spice Girls may tour with the Backstreet Boys. This wouldn’t be so far-fetched, as the all male vocal group has toured with other nostalgia acts, such as New Kids on The Block. Most recently, the boys toured with popular 90s acts Nelly and the remaining members of TLC.

Although Beckham isn’t down for the reunion, Mel B insists that they are all still “five best friends.”
