Kate And Pippa Middleton Praised For Fashion Sense By Designer Tabitha Webb

One of the Duchess of Cambridge and Pippa Middleton’s favorite designers has praised both the sisters for their sense of style and taste in fashion.

Tabitha Somerset Webb has collaborated with Kate’s younger sister on the design of a dress, and both of the sisters have made appearances in Webb’s designs from her recent summer collection of dresses while at events such as Wimbledon and the U.S. Open.

The 46-year-old designer spoke with Hello! magazine about the Middletons and raved about their style. Tabitha was sure to point out Pippa’s impeccable fashion sense and for looking incredible in anything she wears. The publication relays the designer’s words.

“She’s a really down-to-earth accessible girl, the sort of lovely woman you can sit down and have a chat with and I think people like her style.”

Webb went on to describe Pippa as a “normal girl,” and the designer who previously set up the Project D line of fashion with Danni Minogue also shared her admiration for Kate Middleton’s fashion sensibility, commenting that the Duchess dresses “amazingly.”

The designer added, “I certainly couldn’t go around doing all those events, looking so immaculate. Imagine the stress that involves.”

The Daily Mail relays the occasions on which Kate has stepped out in Tabitha’s designs.

“Kate has showcased Tabitha’s designs on several occasions, wearing her flower print Penelope dress for her visit to the tiny island of Tuvalu on the last day of the nine-day Diamond Jubilee tour of the South Pacific with William in 2012. Pippa, who is an ambassador for the British Heart Foundation (BHF), joined forces with Tabitha last year to create a two-piece limited edition collection in aid of the charity.”

As previously stated, Pippa joined forces with Tabitha Webb for the purpose of raising money for charity, which involved Pippa’s 54-mile London to Brighton bike ride in aid of the BHF. Pippa described being involved in the process as both “fun and creative.” The outcome of Pippa and Tabitha’s collaboration resulted in a £295 dress and a £95 scarf. The two pieces were a definite tribute to Pippa’s own preppy and frilly wardrobe.

Pippa ensured to promote her pieces by wearing them to Wimbledon. The scarf, made of silk frock and cashmere and involving a floral pattern designed by Tabitha, was a sure sell-out.

As the Daily Mail relays, “Last month the elusive outfit, plus a signed photo of Pippa, were auctioned off as part of the British Heart Foundation’s Roll out the Red auction.”

Webb has certainly not ruled out another collaboration with the fitness queen and younger sister to Kate. The designer shared how well she and Pippa clicked while collaborating, and they had a lot of fun designing the pieces. Webb then went on to share that she and Danni Minogue did not see much of each other, although they still remain friends after parting ways business-wise.

Danni walked from their brand Project D back in 2013 after the pair had released a fashion line, along with a fragrance and watch collection.

As for Kate, these days, the Duchess is keeping busy. She and Prince William are getting set for their 2016 tour, which will take them to India in mid-April. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be leaving their two children, George, 2, and Charlotte, 9 months, behind while they embark on the journey, which will serve to strengthen ties with the nation.

Before Kate and William take off to India, they clearly wanted to have a family getaway with their children, so they took off for what was supposed to be a secretive ski vacation in the French Alps. Of course, the secrecy did not last long, and the royals were met with criticism. Kate ensured to keep her fashionable reputation intact all the while.
