Gay & LGBT Activists Frustrated With Caitlyn Jenner For Hillary Clinton & Donald Trump Views: Kardashians Shun

Caitlyn Jenner is facing a backlash from the gay community, including some of her friends who are LGBT activists, for her recent highly charged political statements. Among those statements, Caitlyn contended that she views Hillary Clinton as a “f**king liar” and “political hack,” while defending Donald Trump on a recent episode of I Am Cait, reported Us Weekly.

“I think he’d be very good for women’s issues,” argued Jenner in reference to Trump. “I don’t think he’s out there to destroy women or do any of that kinda stuff.”

While some of her friends exited the room as Caitlyn defended Donald, Jenny Boylan summed up their feelings.

“Kill me now,” she groaned.

Jenner’s friends were outspoken about their support for Hillary during that episode, pointed out the Daily Mail.

But Caitlyn made her dislike of Clinton evident.

“Oh my God I would never ever vote for Hillary. We are done. If Hillary becomes president the country is over,” insisted Jenner.

Her friends termed Clinton as “an amazing woman,” but Caitlyn continued to claim that Hillary had not accomplished anything and had created problems.

“What has she done in her life? What has she done? What has she done? She was horrible. Look at all of the things that are going on in the Middle East because of what she did. Look at Benghazi. She lied to us, she is a f***ing liar.”

While Caitlyn clashed with her friends on reality TV about politics, Jenner also has experienced a reaction from the LGBT community, noted the Washington Post.

Emphasizing her political conservatism so much has frustrated many, particularly with regard to the way that Caitlyn has repeatedly interpreted the Republican attitude toward the gay community.

“None of the Republicans are ‘I hate trans people’ or ‘I hate gays,’ ” insisted Jenner. “They do nothing of that. I want a driving economy so every trans person has a job.”

Caitlyn’s comment that she “likes” Senator Ted Cruz also drew hostility and baffled responses, including Jenner’s own BFF Candis Cayne, who is a transgender activist.

“I don’t understand why she thinks that,” admitted Candis. “Democrats are more open to transgender views, and in general Republicans are more conservative about that, and they don’t want to give LGBT rights to our community.”

As for Caitlyn’s mentor, Jenny Boylan, also a transgender activist as well as a professor and writer, the situation is frustrating.

“The fact that she’s swooning over Ted Cruz — a bigot, a hater, and an all around dunderhead — is galling,” admitted Boylan.

But Caitlyn is holding firm to her view that she shouldn’t have to change her politics.

“Sometimes these girls think now that I’ve transitioned, everything has to change,” pointed out Jenner. “You can’t be conservative any more, you have to be a liberal.”

But it’s not just “these girls” who are frustrated with Caitlyn. More individuals are against Jenner in the gay community, according to the Wrap.

“I’m definitely seeing a growing frustration within the LGBT community with Caitlyn’s positions and actions,” confirmed trans activist Sarah McBride. “Her most recent comments about Ted Cruz were, for a lot of people, the last straw.”

Initially, many in the LGBT community were enthusiastic about Jenner. But now that’s changed, said another activist.

“Caitlyn has eroded a lot of the enthusiasm that the LGBT community at large had for her as she was coming out,” noted LGBT activist Danielle Moodie-Mills. I find it very disappointing that through ‘I Am Cait’ and her conversations with less advantaged trans people there hasn’t been a cultural shift in her understanding of the movement.”

As for how Caitlyn’s family is reacting, an insider told Radar Online that the Kardashian clan in general is shunning her because of the backlash.

“It’s just so obvious,” claimed the insider. “When [Caitlyn] relaunched herself they were all over her like barnacles on the bottom of a boat, but the moment there’s a backlash, they’re nowhere to be found.”

In particular, Kylie and Kendall rarely see Caitlyn, according to the source, who blames two members of the famous Keeping Up With The Kardashians clan.

“The only time they do is if it’s in their interest. This is all Kim [Kardashian] and Kris [Jenner]’s doing. If there hadn’t been a backlash, they’d still be all over Caitlyn. It’s so cruel and Caitlyn’s feeling very hurt, lonely and rejected right now.”
